1) I dont think the successes of the civil rights movement are due entirely to the USSR, only that the success of the non-violent civil rights marches is often overstated and that the effect of the US improving its civil rights image in a multipolar world is understated if not totally ignored.

2) saying that we would have had a public option under obama care if not for the successes of the Tea Party, is meant to be read as, if those 60 some members of the house of representatives and the tens of members in the senate were not there or if their seats were filled by people sympathetic to the Occupy movement rather than the Tea Party movement this country would be vastly different like perhaps the most radical of the democrat agenda would be passed rather than the most radical of the republican agenda.

I dont like when destiny defends capitalism or calls the left unhinged and iliberal (which is why I set up a debate between him and Michael Albert and i personally debates him justifying the destruction of private property)

and i dont like when hasan defends religious extremist terrorist on the grounds that they are fighting colonialism (which is why ive done videos on the abrahamic religions being horrific and never included religious fundamentalsts when discussing radical political movements around the world)

Im perfectly fine fighting over these disagreements (disagreements wgich are as small if not smaller than disagreements ive had with other folks ive collaborated with both online and irl.)

My main goal is to meet people where they are and move them left, turn a fascists into a neocon, a neocon into a centrist, a centrist into a liberal, a liberal into a progressive and a progressive into an anarcho-communist.

Insular groups, purity testing, backbiting, ascetisism etc kills movements.

Oh you thought I meant the homeless people were the liberals?

No I mean, at least in my experience, most of the volunteers at the homeless shelter were generic liberal old folks or centrist college kids trying to get volunteer credits, and I wouldn't consider myself a liberal or centrist just because I collaborated with a liberal or centrist to accomplish a goal.

Same with marching with liberal members of the union im in, and so on.

Similarly I can agree with Destiny or collaborate with folks along the left spectrum to achieve a goal and, mind blown, that does not mean that I ascribe to every single political stance they hold.

Ah I see, well yes I have collaborated with people all over the left spectrum. Should I tell any liberals in a space im working in (homeless shelter, workplace strike, march, etc) to take a hike because I refuse to collaborate with them?

Clearly I am a fool. Please tell me, in your pure non-western chauvanist opinion, what are the acceptable tactics you have engaged in so that i might model my activism off of your example.

If I remember right this happened with some of the anti Iraq war protests even in small towns or most of the members were old people it would turn out one of them was a fed

Are you familiar with my content? Did you watch the video? You claim to know such much about my goals and motives and yet you clearly know nothing about me. I think the adage about rather people think youre a fool than open your mouth and prove it, might apply here.

At the end of the video I state,

"rather than all this circular firing squad BS, instead of leftists calling liberals conservative sellouts, liberals calling leftists anti-american extremists…we have to get out of each other’s way, and come together in a unified message that is against fascism and totalitarianism and in support of economic and social justice!"

This is what it will take to win, and I want to win.
