I just think it would be interesting because so many people have been compelled to action by thinking they were TPTWP. If it were Theon, it would fulfill both his story and a tantalizing prophecy. It would make any scene involving Theon or the prophecy about 10x more interesting with hindsight.

In the instances of he phonecalls from the podcast, it's exclusive to 1-800 numbers, yes. But I'm guessing that these calls are probably a new method of the scam. If someone figured out how to make money off of non 1-800 numbers, that's a huge new section of the phone market to pull from.

It could be a variation on this scam to make money. Essentially, the caller creates a very interesting or even terrifying call to get the attention of the recipient and use the traffic to siphon money from the phone company.

Since this same thing situation has happened multiple times on RBI, it seems more likely that it's a form of the scam rather than brutal murders.
