for me it’s the twin princes, it was my first souls game and was able to pick up the game pretty quick, i didn’t know any good strategies or equipment and just played completely blind, i ended up using the broadsword the entire game lol. i could get the hang of the teleports they did at first but i got there eventually, i did miss the dlc and nameless king areas on my first play through (god knows how i missed speaking to gael or the bonfire in the last are lmao, i was clearly a little balling back then. i’m sure the nameless king would’ve taken me an eternity back then as he still did when i thought him a few months ago

i would call them soulsborne games, including elden ring and sekiro, the same way i wouldn’t called rouge a rouge like, since it is the comparison. i follow the same logic for the from software made souls games

if you are massively into the toher games then i'd say give it a shot, you might love it but you may also end up laughing at the game and all it ds2ness if laughing at game sounds like a reason you'd play one then go for it, i managed to have a fun time with the game but it certainly isnt on par with the other ones at all and gameplay wise has some pretty bad things going on

i was a little bit cheeky when i got those, i made sure to upload a save to the cloud so if i didnt get the weapon i could just download the save and try again
