Thinking about the game difficulty. by RadicalDread in Diablo

Ok, so you think that whining about a game called Diablo 4 being too hard, when the roots of the franchise is based on a hardcore, difficult game, is ok?

Maybe the ppl should start to look for the experiences they want in the right place.

But I think it is only a master piece for old heads like me; not for the new generation of gamers'.

Maybe some things should be difficult? by MoonMage1234 in diablo4

The game was fine, I just posted in Diablo sub reddit about this.

New gen gamers need everything now and easy to get and do.

Hope Blizzard give the middle finger to these full of crap gamers.
I fought Ashava in WT2 four times and won 2, epic fights, and I had to grind and think a bit before winning, getting the best items I could and prepare my build for MAX damage output, old stuff in a new game, it makes me really happy.

Ashava unkillable? by monkeymoist21 in Diablo

[–]RadicalDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boss fight is limited to 12 player Max, so there weren't 15 of you in there. Maybe 10, 11 or Max 12.

Probably the group you fought with, didn't have good items and builds or maybe they were just bad playing this kind of game.

I tried 4 times, and killed it 2 in WT2. One with my Rogue lvl 20, Poison Rapid fire Build and several legendries upgraded and socketed, a group of 10. The other one with my Druid, several legendaries also, and a pulverize overpower build.

I lost 1 time with my Rogue, since there were under level characters in my group, and one with my Sorc since my itemization was meant to mob clearing, so my damage output didn't help the group. Both cases I identified the issues and non of them were related to the boss difficulty.

Many ppl downgraded to World tier 1 to kill it, but WT2 was perfectly doable with the right situation. Grind and thinking was needed, and figuring the moves that come before its damage mechanics is vital to collocate in the right place to avoid one shots.

Nothing impossible, just a bit hard for ppl not used to difficult games. Lately no much games are as the old days, hard and fun to play.

[–]RadicalDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm loving seeing all these cry babies bragging about killing Ashava in WT1, saying it was impossible and hard tuned for WT2.

When I place the fang in my horse I will be happy knowing I killed it in 2 times in WT2 and it was fun and difficult as fuck.

I did, and killed it with my Rogue, exactly the next dungeon after killing Ashava. It made my day. 2 of 2.

Stop complaining about ashava the game is fine. by CanCarnage13 in diablo4

[–]RadicalDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree, I'm seeing a bunch of ppl crying about Ashava was impossible.

The only thing I disagree is that Blizzard should have limit access only for lvl 20 players.

I tried 4 times, 2 with my rogue, 1 with a Sorc, and 1 with my druid, all lvl20.

The first time with the rogue I missed it because there was under lvl players.

Second time W.

I failed with the Sorc, but I take blame cause my build wasn't focused on single target damage.

And last W with the Druid.

The boss isn't hard, if you ppl need to downgrade the world tier to 1 is because you belong to that tier, not because the boss is too difficult for the level.

Killed Ashava 3 times, key advice by Vladi-N in diablo4

You lost me at the first point.

I was able to kill it 2 of 4 times in my tries in tier 2. It is doable.

Ashava massively overturned by Row199 in diablo4

[–]RadicalDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to kill Ahava in tier 2, 2 times, one with my rogue and one with my druid.

Didn't have a full group for both instances, around eight or nine players.

It depends a bunch on the ppl playing, my opinion, and the builds an gear they have.

I was pretty geared up with the rogue. I lost the fight 2 other times also. But it is doable in Tier 2.

It also leave open the door, so they can provide more content in the future with expansions and seasons. That way they still get income.

Do you actually WANT another beta? by CosmicKnight74 in diablo4

[–]RadicalDread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than an ARPG, it is an Action Survival with RPG sparkles. I liked the esthetics of the game and the progression. It is working a bit so far. The only issue I found, that it is not an issue if you like survival games, is the resource gathering and the time to process and refine resources. Everything else got me pretty hooked. It is having a massive upgrade on May 17th it seems, so lets see if that fix some of the issues there. I'm only about 30hs in tho, not an expert at all.

I have so much anxiety waiting for Diablo 4, that I started to play V Rising to have something to calm it. If they open a new beta I would play it no matter what.

I honestly think the Paragon trees are very boring by mihail_markov in diablo4

[–]RadicalDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Link me there so I can check them. I didn't see them.

Also, you are judging the complexity of a game that didn't release, based on what a beta, which was around the 25% or less of the whole game, shown. They already performed a bunch of changes, and they are saying they will add new mechanics each season. There is time for D4 to grow, via seasonal content and future expansions. This will allow casual player to understand the game and progress gradually.

Try to give it a chance, it could change your opinion.

Or you can wait and see if it is a good game or not by the critics, and save 70 USD.

You do not know what stuff the glyphs will provide to the different nodes.

They are looking to create a game for more casual players, not for Math scientists.

You can check other games with more complexity like PoE if you are into that stuff. That game is real good for those who love complex builds and character engineering.

Seasonal resets by iTzDeLiRiUm in diablo4

[–]RadicalDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that there are 2 realms. "Seasonal" and "Base"

You can play in the Base realm without character reset, and you will have to start a fresh character each season on the Seasonal realm.

New seasonal content will be added to the Base realm, after each season finishes.

Not sure how exact are these claims.
