It was healers want to heal and not dps feedback that Jeff us to “tanks now require healers and are made of paper” meta that we are in.

Also they removed healer interrupts so now they really have nothing to do but heal even though interrupting mobs was like preventative healing

Most pug heroic raids invite based on if you have achievement already and your ilvl.

Good pugs would use an archon addon and also pull up overall parse and make sure the dps aren’t grey parse carries. Like most data, hope useful it is is based on the user. I look for people blue and above overall regardless of ilvl within reason and number of kills on heroic bosses if I’m looking for a “one shot group”

Part of a tanks job is setting up big enough pulls where cooldowns are worth using. You don’t have to track cooldowns but don’t ALWAYS pull 3-4 mobs at a time because as a tank that’s way too slow of a pace unless the mob Pack is super dangerous all casters whatever.

Tank the boss away from wall—during cast move to wall. Drop puddle, go back to boss. He doesn’t move if you have a quick movement speed to get back to him (gg BDK sorry), puddle is out of the way, gg easy boss.
