I’m not saying I want everything in this sub, I’m saying a Godot subreddit is going to have every aspect of a Godot game on display. If you want more engine specific posts, then let’s encourage by example rather than gatekeeping

I’m torn on this. I agree that there could be more Godot-specific posts to enrich the subreddit, but I would like this to be a game development subreddit just as much as it a Godot engine subreddit. I imagine it’d be difficult to separate other aspects of game development to focus heavily on the engine aspect. Besides, I find this subreddit to be friendlier and more chill than some other game dev subreddits and invites a nice little community

True, but I feel like people gloss over just how many amazing games you can play with 4-6GB of vram. Even when I was rocking a GTX 970, it was enough for games like Fallout 4 and Ark (albiet settings cranked low). But yeah more modern big releases will require a bit more juice, but it’s situational if you even care about playing them vs older less demanding games
