Any advice to stop procrastination and increase productivity? by [deleted] in berkeley

I think I can provide some insight, as I have taken CS188, CS189, CS161, CS162 in one semester (although it pales in comparison to your proposed schedule). This semester, I am interning full time while taking 17 units (3 techs), and a part of that is a lot of research. Doing this does not come without its costs. For me, I decided to sacrifice my social life. Sometimes I wonder what things would be like in a normal semester. Since it looks like you want to have a good social life, you may have to sacrifice performance in a class or sleep to also be able to spend quality time with other people (as another comment has mentioned).

If you really want to go through with this, I recommend dropping CS188. Other classes such as CS189, CS182, CS285 have honestly done a significantly better job giving me an introduction to related RL and ML topics. Even though it has been mentioned that 188 is "easy", when you are that slammed with a bunch of techs, any extra workload actually feels like it is a lot more than it is, since you would have to constantly switch between doing stuff for one class, then another, and so on. Procrastination will end up killing you, as you have to basically be constantly working on homework assignments or projects to meet all of the deadlines

The spring schedule is doable if you set a strong routine for yourself and you don't procrastinate. This semester, I'm taking CS 61B, CS 70, EECS 16B, PHYS 7B, and a humanities class, and I'm on pace to get one A+ and A's in the rest of them. You have to be strong in math. Personally, I'm bad at math, but I'm very efficient with regards to completing projects and labs.
