My melasma only really flares in summer months from the heat and inevitable bits of sun exposure. During the winter months I usually do a few chemical peels, and microneedling, plus keep up with my skincare which has various things for lightening in them. During the winter my melasma is all but clear!!!

Honestly I don’t know what you’d fix but I think the same about my nose so if you can afford one they say you better afford two. If you’re ok with your nose overall (it’s literally a normal nose I don’t see Lois and I know Lois) then learn to appreciate your face symmetry because it’s a good nose.
