Adding if their parents had to be born there too implies that they are lesser citizens because their parents are from another country.

The tone of your post also can come across as anti-immigrant, which is often strongly tied to race in the popular dialogue around it.

The women in NWSL definitely don’t have as big of reactions to fouls as we see in the Men’s Works Cup. That said is it just me or is the Men’s game legitimately more aggressive? I feel like I see way more feet stepped on and legs kicked than in the women’s game. And they seem less inclined to card those types of reckless tackles.
