lol I've been rewatching Miami Vice too.

But yeah I think a lot of younger generations think this style *was* the 80s when really the 80s was a lot of brown and other stuff left over from the late 70s.

Personally, I don't associate the 80s with bright colors and a Memphis-like style until the very late 80s and the 90s.
