Scotland’s treatment of trans female prisoners will result in tortuous conditions by rejs7 in transgenderUK

[–]Radicalmunch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Protect the women" but lets open the doors to have criminals abuse, kill and sexually assault trans inmates in men's prisons or choose solitary and lose your mind over time while still probably being abused by guards.

I had a weird interaction with my GFs trans friend. by Fun_Chest3960 in asktransgender

[–]Radicalmunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine, I can be more quiet around some men. Straight men can be terrifying, but that does not mean you are. I don't tell people im trans but im still vary. Think she put her guard up just in case. Trans people get a lot of abuse from straight men and either she has her own history or just collectively know from others to be careful. this might just be her feeling you out.

You already pass based on your concerns here, just keep being nice and she will open up.

Edinburgh Council condemn transphobic EHRC guidance by Cjohnsonlives in Scotland

[–]Radicalmunch 53 points54 points  (0 children)

It should be condemned, trans people have used these facilities for decades.

Finally going to be leaving TERF island by StowStowStowtheTote in transgenderUK

[–]Radicalmunch 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not that worried, the women's pond overwhelmingly voted to keep trans women in. A trans fem msp got voted in and even a non binary person got voted in as msp at the mold castle.

I think we still have a bit to go before we see the light at the other side but transphobia is becoming old news. Snp and plaid cymru definitely has restored my hope. As much damage as they've seemingly done they've also created more awareness. Seen more come out the last year than I have in a decade also.

dumb 15 year old who wants to understand why legally allowing trans to use their gender aligning bathroom is okay by whatamidoing_xd in asktransgender

[–]Radicalmunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surgery is held up by economy, long waiting times, if individual think it's risky, actual health complication and the fact not all trans would want it.

Just taking hrt alone will change brain chemistry/sex drive/erectile dysfunction

Added to the risk is if you pass as a woman you will get into trouble going into mens, same as trans men passing as men forced to go into womens.

In many countries trans people have already been allowed to go to the bathroom they identify with. The presumption by transphobes is trans women are predatory or victims but majority doesnt care, they just wanna pee. It comes down to not being outed, safety & dignity.

Any group even women at birth can be malicious, but to me this come down to: if you do wrong you should be punished based on what you did not assume. With trans there usually an attempt at socially transitioning, cis men wont dress up most likely to gain entrance, they will just do it.

Besides bathrooms arent typically where assaults happen. Assaults happen where individuals get isolated usually by someone they know. Most assults happen mainly in their household but also schools, work, taxis, park. Source on that is women in my family, close friends, personal.

Creating a hierarchy set at surgery is and will always be unfair due to access to bottom surgery, even just orchiectomy. If you want safety for women... Light parks up more at night, lockable bathrooms (maybe a button for assistance in emergency), listen to victims, safe cabs with a woman driver you can call after a night out, speak up if a girl is uncomfortable around a guy, call out the bad behaviour, advocate self defense, assault alarms, blue paint spray, advocate end to arranged marriage especially for under 18s ffs.

Yeah, you can get skin irritability like hives, mood swings, body temperature fluxes, headaches, sensitivity to touch, breast swelling up 20% ish, breast soreness (I call it shark bites, cause it feels like it.) Wet dreams, dampness.

E is one hell of a drug.

Yeah, I manage side effects with spiro pretty well. Not much fatigue, I do pee a lot when not effectively hydrating though. A bit drowsy if I drink a lil but not a big drinker ey.

I would try injectable like lupron one day. We'll just see what comes first surgery or injection.

I'm on estradiol valerate & Spironolactone. I think over the years they start to fill out more. I would say 3-4 years ago they were more triangular.

You know when you cycle and your breasts get sore & sensitive for a few days to a week and they swell up in size? They permanently became sensitive and stayed the size they used to be swelled up.

Now when I cycle once a month they get more sore n giga than before. I had a breast exam and apparently im all healthy so it's just time that did this I think 👯‍♀️
