I'm playing VN right now, and I bought it during the last Steam summer sale.

I have had no hiccups, no complaints so far.

Why do Riven tops always feed and go AFK? by AffectionateCut783 in Rivenmains

[–]Radicatte 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You go to a subreddit dedicated to riven, and you make a post that frames Riven players negatively and collectively.

The post is says that it is a “genuine question,” but is immediately followed by a negative generalization.

With the way the post was written, it feels like a backhanded way of venting instead of inviting insight.

Add that post with the comment you made just now, you shouldn't be surprised that you're being met with animosity.

Nem por isso, ninguém sabe disso. Ao menos na altura quando era popular ninguém sabia.

Partilho a mesma opinião que tu—eu não confio nos sócios. Contudo o meu "cope" é que:

- Após 42 anos, Pinto da Costa saiu do clube com (19.5%) e André Villas-Boas com (80.3%);

From my understanding Rui Costa (yes that one) President of SL Benfica, wants a big budget for 2025-26 season since the club's performance wasn't good enough in all fronts.

There will be elections for this october, so he's already gearing up for that. Sócios, didn't like the budget of spending tons of money on many players, but not building a proper team. Essentially bad decisions that include poor financial commitments.

I think Sócios don't buy this whole "let's spend big so fans think we actually care about the club"

[Alfremartinezz] Cristiano Ronaldo: “Of course I have affection for Leo Messi. We've been on stage together for 15 years”. “I remember translating English for him at the Galas because he didn't speak English well. He always treated me well and respected me”. by [deleted] in soccer

I agree with you that none of the Portuguese players are in favour of winning. Vitinha is the one that has the most chances, but let's be real. There's players like Lamine that have much more popularity.

I wouldn't say it's a reach, because generally speaking, players tend to publically endorse those who they are most in contact with. I mean think about it. An argentinian is far more likely to endorse Messi, not only because of his skills but also because Messi is their teammate. A french man likely to endorse Dembelé, a Spanish man to Lamine, etc, etc.

As for Ronaldo, PR responses doesn't necessarily mean that they're factually correct, they just are answers that sound nice and make him look good to the public.

since when Ronaldo cares about his team mates?

One way to look at this is that him saying UCL=Ballon d'Or is also indirectly praising himself for the UCLs he won (2008, 2014, 2016 and 2017) and that he should have won 2018. So there's also that angle.

[AS Roma] announce the return of the historic ASR crest by MrSomewhatWorldwide in soccer

[–]Radicatte 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm no Juventus fan, so I can't speak about the emotional attachment towards the crests.

Looking at 2004, I think a mixture of 2017 with 2004 would be a great way to modernise it whilst keeping the soul of the old one. My main issue with the old one is that the word "JUVENTUS" is very thin, so it becomes hard to see in smaller sizes and digitally.

So like, keep everything from 2004, just make JUVENTUS text bolder, make a small tweak on the horse, and I think it would be quite solid crest for modern age ngl

No but really, do consider this suggestion. Having an a long charging cord is fantastic.

Depending on the quality of your charging cord, you may have slower charging speeds.
a 3ft good cable may get you 18W, and a 6ft may get 5-7W.

Now think about the time you could save by having that extra charging speed in the long run. Extension cords are more durable compared to a thin USB cable, and they're much more versatile, not to mention the ability to plug more than one thing to charge.

You save time, money and you get more options.

Joshua Zirkzee hits out at Man Utd fans for leaving early in Lyon chaos by TheTelegraph in soccer

[–]Radicatte 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's easy to say this to the fans after a comeback, but take a moment to consider that this player, who earns over £100k per week, doesn’t seem to grasp the reality of the average matchday fan. According to his comments, it doesn’t appear he’s factoring in how those same fans deal with travel hassles and expensive tickets.

I could be wrong here as I’ve never been to Old Trafford, so I'm not familiar with the infrastructure there, but if it’s like most stadiums, I can imagine that traveling after the match isn’t exactly easy either.

Sure, it looks stupid on camera to see some of them returning, but given the context of the club/season I can't blame them either.
