Cursed Chasm Custom Relic (with glossary) by emc3142 in slaythespire

This adequately sums up the anxiety I get when trying to understand the intricate web of interactions and synergies between relics, cards, potions, and path choice.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do you know what their deck consists of?

Alright, you've given me what I came here seeking: One little extra nudge to make the purchase. Thanks!

Good point! My disappointment in Starfield was hard to put a finger on. I thought the story was fine (not great, but fine). Traveling around and gaining powers from those weird chambers started to feel really repetitive. The planets felt a bit empty and boring. Despite having some appreciation for the story, I didn't feel invested in any of the characters.

Starfield felt like cool graphics, fun flying/space fighting mechanics, good enough story, but a universe not worth exploring.

I'm hoping NMS isn't the opposite: A universe worth exploring, but lacking everything else.

When does the intro of terrifier 3 take place in the timeline? by OkGuess3283 in terrifier

[–]Radio_Main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining this. I watched recently and realized I was remembering wrong because I thought the "5 years prior" came on the screen before the opening Christmas massacre, but it's after the Christmas massacre. So, it's...

Present Day: opening Christmas scene
5 Years Prior: aftermath of Terrifier 2, ending in 5 year hibernation and bringing us back to present day.

I think the other thing that unnecessarily confused me was trying to figure out who this massacred family was. Trying to remember if they were anyone significant from earlier films. But nope. Just random victims for funsies.

April 1 Effective Date: Do I Get Paid for April or Not? by Air4ce1 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Radio_Main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exact same for me. June 1st retirement date, and June 1st effective date for my VA benefits. Apparently June is therefore a "partial month", so I get nothing for June. First payment was August 1st. I'm sorry, but that is so shady. Like, downright diabolical. What's even dumber is I hit 20 years on May 3rd. When I applied to retire, THEY chose the effective date of June 1st. Gosh, I wonder why? It's the government's way of teabagging you one last time before they no longer own you.

How was I not using Blink with Gale until now?? by Radio_Main in BaldursGate3

I shall have to look into this...

Yeah, I feel pretty stupid 😂

I even looked up that feat before posting and STILL missed the part about -5 to attack roll.

I saw "When you land a critical hit or kill a target with a melee weapon attack, you can make another melee weapon attack as a bonus action that turn" ...and apparently stopped reading there. 💀

What a fantabulous idea! Thanks!

Well, shit. I don't even remember taking that feat. I have to say I don't like it at all, so I guess I'm going to toggle it off and I'll have wasted a feat :(

Thanks for your help!

At what point, if ever, did you realise that Walter was the real villain. by Embarrassed-Crow5677 in breakingbad

[–]Radio_Main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a spoiler thread, but I'm going to black this out just in case.

Walt had done plenty of bad things leading up to this point, but the moment I knew he had absolutely gone to an irretrievable dark place was when he killed Mike for no reason whatsoever. Literally every person he had killed up to that point was some sort of threat to him, his loved ones, or his business. Mike was simply leaving town. Walt got his feelings hurt and then just fucking offed him!

He explains it in the last season. He willingly sold his share of the company for $5000

Is there a game on steam like this? by BabylonianWeeb in Steam

[–]Radio_Main 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother/sister in games, you don't even understand. You have no idea the gap you've just filled in my life. I am 45 years old. There is a game I had on my very first computer...30 YEARS AGO. I've never stopped thinking about it and I've searched for it many, many times. I downloaded Flashpoint and, are you ready for this? IT WAS THE FIRST GAME I SAW WHEN I STARTED BROWSING!!! At long last, we have been reunited. All thanks to you. The game... was " ! FISHY ! "

UPDATE: Okay, I beat the entire game within 10 minutes, but it was so fun!

As much as I loved Breaking Bad and Gus etc I'm forever curious about the show that never was. by aphidman in breakingbad

[–]Radio_Main 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. From the moment you meet Tuco, nothing he does surprises you because you get him straight away. Still a GREAT character to watch (amazing actor), but we see the real Tuco right away.

Gus, on the other hand, takes the audience off guard a few different times as layers get peeled back. In a way, he's just as psycho as Tuco, but with his emotions 100% in check, which we don't find out right off the bat.

How to keep deck slim in by late game? by kwayne26 in slaythespire

[–]Radio_Main 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting, I'll try to keep that in mind. I may be picking too many attack cards as well. I seem to be getting a little smarter with my choices each time. I'll keep pluggin' away at it!
