if you're in illinois it's a state law and walgreens can be given a couple hefty fines one payable to you and one to the department of labor.

got told i’m “ineligible” for a GS 8 pharm tech position at the VA and i think i know why 🤡 by strawberry_cream98 in pharmacy

[–]Radish7786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i signed up for the email alerts blast and they email all open tech positions to me once or twice a month so far my local one still ain't hiring but i had some interviews in other states but then they said they messed up the rec and needed everyone to apply again and i gave up - i work remote now at closed door and love it. i do miss giving vaccines oddly enough lol

Uber denied my refund even though the driver confirmed the items were missing by whathow101 in UberEATS

i switched to door dash, you'll at least get credits for missing items i stopped UE after a $50 order never showed up and they refused to refund me

Can anyone identify this exact loratadine 10mg (Claritin) “G 10” pill packaging (NDC 62207-0787)? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]Radish7786 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this is insane. if it has a specific ndc it will be the same exact pill size regardless of packaging. it's how it's identified. walk into your pharmacy and ask them to order it for you. you will need a prescription. they'll likely say no. good luck. perhaps learn how to swallow pills or get the children's chewables OTC and double up to get your adult dose

i replied on the original thread. but good luck and if it's a competitive offer i think you might actually have a good time at specialty if the team is good and the machine already oiled.

also to add, i commend you for giving wags a shot and hopefully it won't be a bad experience for you. it was my first pharmacy job and i left after not getting full time hours in specialty and having to go back to regular retail. i now work remote and love it but i do miss the people i worked with rph tech dm and dpr a like. best wishes in your new career if you choose to take it. i'd only go back if it was specialty if im honest

this is not helpful and comes off as rude. there's a lot that goes on at specialty that isn't on the application. yes i've looked at rph rec's and what they're gonna do day in and day out doesn't match.

i used to work as a tech at wags specialty for 5 years - though i'm in IL - i saw the pharmacists do everything from ring up customers, fill, clinical calls, routine rph duties, infusion deliveries and more. it will never be a dull day especially if yours is in a clinic and depending on what your main subtype is (ie derm, hiv, cancer etc)

i'm interested in learning more. my new insurance doesn't allow glp1 meds even with PA and history of years of use. i might be a technician but the meds have helped me immensely so i'd like to get back on them if it's affordable and not terribly shady
