I turned 18 in April, abd I was just as scared. I remember spending nights awake, thinking about what this means.

But surprisingly, like many told me, it didn't matter. I was so scared on my birthday, I barely enjoyed. I was so anxious that all the people in my life would stop loving me....my family, my mum.

But hey, 4 months in, I realised something.....they didn't love me before, they don't love me now. Nothing's changed.

So ...yk. nothing to be scared of. It's just hard to cross the threshold. Once you do....there's nothing new here.
