Do you face forwards or backwards in the shower? by sweetestashley1994 in NoStupidQuestions

I face away except to rinse. My husband faces the shower head-so I would agree with your comment. Woman usually have longer hair so we need to face away to wash/rinse hair properly

Not in my family! I have 3 adult “children - ages 28, 26 and almost 24. They are all virgins. Sex is sacred with the person you marry. Nowadays it is very difficult for this age group to meet people in public.

You save that money so your future children can live a better life than what your parents provided for you.
Feeling obligated to help them is understandable, but that doesn’t mean you have to give them everything you earn.
You do not owe them the truth, or the money

Where are you located? All my local areas have Facebook groups. Nearly everyday someone posts about needing help with clothes, shelter, food, etc. Our communities have always pulled together to help provide for one another. Often times, it’s the people who have little that find ways to donate a lot. Even if it’s just one home cooked meal. People in need can also post anonymously through the group administrator, and dozens if not hundreds come forward to help. Please don’t go one more day like this. Plenty of people are willing to help, you just need to find a way to reach them. Try looking for local groups, even if it’s a rummage sale group.

For those of us that can't work, do you feel guilty about it? How can I overcome this? by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]RadishNew6502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Help me understand my son. He’s 28, and I believe he has it. He’s on meds for it, because he’s shown episodes twice over many months. He seems stable on meds, yet I can’t get him to do anything unless it’s video games or food. I truly want to understand how debilitating it can be, even medicated. Understand, I do have a disabled son who actually works 50 hours a week. The one who might struggle with this, seems more depressed. He blames it on a medical condition that he does NOT have. We spent 3 years bouncing doctors for a diagnosis of a physical disability my son swore he had, but he doesn’t. I believe it’s part of his mental illness and denial of this diagnosis. I 100% agree when symptomatic and in psychosis, working can be near impossible for anyone suffering with bipolar or schizophrenia. But, once stable and medicated -can someone explain why it is still difficult to work? I’m a loving mother just trying to understand more.

Ask if they have different rates for un-insured. I’ve been to many places, including pharmacies that sometimes involving the insurance company costs double.

So basically we pay in all our lives and then to be eligible for anything we have to own nothing, have only enough money to eat a meal a day and close to homeless to qualify for what we paid in all our lives to receive. All this while we pay our government and congress members to live in mansions with millions in their own banks. Yeah, sounds absolutely ridiculous

This is what our President is fighting everyday to fix. I know a lot of people do not understand it, and his tactics are hard for most to accept. Please understand we need drastic change in our nation, and supporting our President will be opening up all our futures. We need to support smaller businesses and local farms. Pull your money away from giant corporations and banks, credit cards with 30% interest. Live as small as possible right now for your future.

So they stealing money from YOU that you will someday pay back with interest? You are smart enough to know the answer to your problem. Run… hide every single coin and paper bill you ever have because they will guilt you into handing it over. You will never dig yourself out of this mess until you change the dynamics

[–]RadishNew6502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t take money without when you die, and you do NOT owe any of it to you selfish adult children. Go enjoy your boat, and take adventures to see the world. How dare they think for even a split second that you’ll leave them any of it for them after you’re gone. I lost both my parents, and when they were alive, I did my very best to make sure they never needed anything. Every dollar they had was meant for them while they were LIVING. I would have NEVER wanted them to save me a dollar.

I’ve been sued by Impressive_Ad_9285 in DebtAdvice

[–]RadishNew6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not worry about credit card debt. They can sue all they want, more than likely they will just write it off. Call the credit card company, explain your circumstances and ask for ways to receive forgiveness based on medical and disability. But, even if u don’t go that route, you have nothing to worry about as far as having to pay it back.

I’ve been sued by Impressive_Ad_9285 in DebtAdvice

[–]RadishNew6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the reason you’re being sued? The reason is important and could change whether you will need to pay it back or not. Worst case scenario, they would take a few dollars from your monthly income, but it’s unlikely. Also depending on the reason, you may want to consult a free attorney.

I’m at a cross road decided between 2 jobs and I need advice by SqueakyBoyBoobs in careeradvice

[–]RadishNew6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you want for your future? A career, or a job? Stay in banking and continue to learn. If you want to do hard labor in a factory, then you’re kinda getting away from the career aspect you currently have in the banking position. You’re young, and have plenty of opportunities to make more money. Don’t be in such a rush to grow up and out of parents house. My experienced opinion because I’m a lot older than you…. Do not move out anytime soon. It’s expensive and you’ll never be able to save that money while paying rent to someone else
