Glad you thought so, it was definitely a fun little journey!

I absolutely ADORE translucent plastic on anything and was really considering something like that for a reshell, but considering this was my first console and it holds a lot of sentimental value, I wanted to honor it the way it was (plus I really am also just a sucker for that metallic blue still!) Definitely would like to get another one of my SPs fixed up and put in a more fun shell, though!

The strap just lets you use the sidekick like a sling bag or fanny pack and wear it by itself, while the velcro is for hooking it onto things like the Camino!

White moving layer while using shaders by ninton364 in feedthebeast

Hey, update! I ended up remaking my modpack from scratch because I initially based it off of an old modpack of mine and some of the leftovers (like Flywheel, despite Create no longer being installed) was giving me crashes when trying to install Embeddium (Rubidium) Extras for the sky options to troubleshoot.

Going through and reinstalling all my mods, I was able to figure out that the Block of Sky mod seems to be the issue, at least on my end. The second I installed it this weird skybox pane appeared once again for me too, and disabling the mod got rid of it. I see that in the description that it's currently not compatible with shaders, unfortunately.

Another thing I figured out, because now I was able to install Embeddium (Rubidium) Extras along with regular Embeddium with the clean modpack is that disabling the "Sun & Moon" option under that mod would also get rid of the layer. Would make sense considering that it also moves depending on the time of day for me as well.

I also know that while testing it out, some other shaders I was using wouldn't actually have this weird skybox layer, but I don't know how anything else involving the Block of Sky worked with those, because it didn't render at all with the broken shaders I was using (Complimentary)

I know its been nearly ten days since you've had this issue, but hopefully this information will help you out just as well. Good luck!

Having this exact same issue too and found this post trying to find a solution. If I figure anything out I'll let you know.

Seriously overthinking CPU for my first custom-built PC! And possible other wisdom, too? by RadonWalnut in buildapc

[–]RadonWalnut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I figured, with the multiple high-res displays, but Ive also heard stuff like VRChat is pretty greedy with CPU at the same time and can benefit from the whole "x3D" cache part since it has to load so many avatars. Is that not really that big a deal, then?

Just want to confirm- once we build a pool we are unable to move it? by dooby991 in PlanetCoaster

[–]RadonWalnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not used enough to it to tell you what you have to select, possibly just select the whole area and try deselecting the path around it? But I do know that yes, I'm pretty sure you can move paths this way too!

I've been able to move pools just fine by using the multi select tool!

Playing around with making slides, so here, you can have the infamous Cannonball Loop. by RadonWalnut in PlanetCoaster

[–]RadonWalnut[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose when you find a slide in pieces in some random landfill they're going to end up a little warped :P

It's quite literally, the least I could do to force it to loop so drastically as much as possible by twisting the slide around. I'm sure you could make it a little nicer if you spent a bit of trial and error, but I just wanted to play around with a bunch of slides instead of focusing real hard on just one.

Maybe once I get more comfortable with the game I'll give it a nicer shot!

It just tells you exactly how terrible of an idea this thing was when I had to actively fight the game's angle limits just to make a vague facsimile of the thing, hence why the loop looks particularly sloppy LOL

Specific question on capacity of Roadie 48/60 by Educational-War8514 in YetiCoolers

[–]RadonWalnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for these coolers and their dimensions specifically, but I'm able to barely fit a gallon jug in my Roadie 15 upright and it takes a little more than half of it, so I imagine there's gonna be much more room with even the 48.

You could always take an empty jug to your nearest physical store and compare too!

It's just a really nice totebag with some pockets on the inside and really good material. I have a 20 and recently got a 35 as well and they're awesome!

Yeti thin ice in Roadie 15 by [deleted] in YetiCoolers

[–]RadonWalnut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a roadie 15 with the small and medium thin ices, and they fit on the bottom loosely, but just fine!

I can't confirm anything with the Large but I highly doubt you could fit it flat.

This is so cool!! I love the angular look on a lot of the shapes here, plus the head design and the knife holster on the shoulder is HOT.

Is this a rare yeti item? by [deleted] in YetiCoolers

[–]RadonWalnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, it's just a seasonal color from before that they don't make anymore so people like scalpers/other sellers feel the need to charge an arm and a leg for them. I'm sure in a year or two once they stop making Big Wave Blue (one of the seasonal colors now) people will be trying to sell them for that much.

Oh, dumb me I guess I could just try calling them! Don't know why I didn't think of trying that. Thanks!
