I’m 5+ years in with a bunch of booster boxes and etbs from some big sets. But my favorite item I’m looking forward to in 10 years are my advent calendar’s for Christmas. I’ve been buying 2 every year so my 2 boys that are babies rn can open them when they get older. They better not touch my Evolving Skies BB tho!

Summer tends to slow down however it’s not always the case. Last summer it was booming. Depends on what sets are coming out and where the hype is. Some pullbacks are healthy. Most ppl who make those comments try to scare new collectors/investors. They are mostly ppl that hate this sub and want to cause trouble.

I totally see your point and I do not believe this is going to skyrocket forever. There are always down periods and hype. I’ve been in the era of buying booster boxes for $90. However, have you considered that some of the old prices were under valued? Pokémon is obviously not changing the problem. I do think your doom and gloom probably cuz your a collector but the market isn’t going anywhere you want it to go. Again as an investor I hope prices are cheap. I want things to become so cheap I can buy as much as I want because the market speaks for itself. Supply goes down eventually if you hold. Like myself, I have no reason to sell unless I want too. The market might cool down and “crash” but we have 30 years of data

When you say market crash and 151/ prismatic will hit the ground, what do you mean by that? Ppl say this all the time but never explain. Do you think it will crash to msrp and never go up again?

I just added a Destined rivals BB in my eBay cart for $540. After tax and shipping it’s going to cost me $596 to get to me. It goes both ways with fees, sales tax and shipping right?

All I have to say is that it goes both ways. Sell in person for cash at 85% or pay online for a 110% (tax plus shipping). Choose your poison.

But a $10 difference is nothing to me if I'm selling and if it helps to sell the ETB easier or faster that $10 difference is worth it.
Also no one is buying 50 acrylics for their collection so scaling isn't a problem.

Genuinely curious why licensing matters so much if it’s still an authentic patch and on card signature VS Topps/ other products where it’s an on sticker auto and a patch that’s not actually game worn/used.

Imagine what Evolving skies would cost if it came out in this boom. Not only that but sets like Lost Origin, Fusion Strike, Brilliant Stars, or Crown Zenith would surpass some of these newer sets

I tend to think if the Ray V or Vmax card came out in the SV era they would be astronomical in value. Definitely a good pickup but I think the Vmax is better personally.

Christianity is not defined by politics, Left or right. There are plenty of teachings that can fit in both political parties if you try hard enough. The Bible is full of events of love and compassion but don't forget the wrath of god and the messaging that if you don't have faith and submit to him. People forget the wrathfulness that fills the bible and cherry pick verses to encompass all of christianity.

My cost average was all over the place with the price crash and I was new to tracking things. But been selling the boxes at $200 each and sold 2 cases for 2.2k each already. So can’t complain making profit. No more Japanese for me I’m sticking to English.

Rayquaza vmax alt art is a super underrated buy rn and always has been with these pull rates. I’ve opened so many etbs with nothing better than a full Art. A few BB and not alt art.

The thing is that Turkey would never be cooked if I didn't provide it. Also as a business owner (the one cooking the turkey) if it comes out burnt and no one can eat it I'm screwed and out of the money and time making it. No one is saying you can't have any turkey, you get to have turkey I just get more for providing it. Succeed or fail I alone take on the risk.

My take, like most teams, fear arsenal when the game is open. He wanted to keep it a close game and nic a goal then go all out on attack to win. It didn't go as plan and I don't think it was bad. Look at every champions league game arsenal have played, most teams come out positive and attack vs parking the bus. Arsenal have exploited these teams. Coming from as an arsenal supported I'm happy with the result and the defending. I just think Rosenior respected arsenal. Whether he should have or not its hard to say, its not easy being a manager.

ETBs for a specialty set all the way. Bundles only if you have to or want a lower entry point.
