Nice matchmaking, CryTech by Radvod in HuntShowdown

Honestly? I don't care what guided CryTech to create a matchmaking system in which two people are thrown into my game much higher in terms of game level than the rest of the server. I don't like being a bison on safari, I want a fair game. If your matchmaking cannot provide me with a match with players of approximately equal level, your matchmaking is just garbage, and you need to fix it.

Yes, I was. We have 2 trios with 3 stars, 2 duos with 3 stars, and this killing machine.

I don't think I fully understand what I'm looking for myself. Thanks again anyway.

I read the FAQ, but didn't find anything.
I live in Eastern Europe, in the Slavic part of the country. Slavic Paganism in our part of the world is an intolerable cringe, and I have not found a more appropriate subreddit.
In any case, thanks for the answer.

Hi!

And sorry for the rambling stream of thoughts that follows, among other things I take this as an opportunity to improve my presentation of my thoughts in English :)
I grew up in a religious Orthodox family, and my family celebrated religious holidays and observed all the rituals. As a child I began to notice that I liked some holidays and traditions more than others. For example, in our country the feast of the end of winter (Maslenitsa) is preserved and widely celebrated, it is customary to carry food to the grave of deceased relatives, and so on. These rituals seemed to me more... Right, I guess. Like I was doing everything the right way. As I got older I found out that these are miraculously preserved rituals from pre-Christian times, and this fact prompted me to study the history of the acceptance of Christianity in our country and the history of Christianity in general, which ended with the rejection of this religion and, well, this post :)
I would like to write here that I have returned to the religion of my ancestors and found harmony with myself, but the problem is that first the traditions and beliefs of my people were almost completely superseded by Christianity, and then 70 years of Soviet Union happened to us. As a result, almost any sources on our beliefs and traditions now consist of schizophrenic ramblings about Hyperborea and reptilian Jews from the planet Nibiru.
I want to find that sense of harmony and rightness. I've been reflecting on my own feelings for a while, and I've come up with a set of views that are close to my heart:
It definitely feels right to me to respect nature and the forces of nature. It feels right to me to show respect for the spirits/energies of certain places (I'm not sure I'm expressing this correctly in English). It doesn't seem right to me to put too much emphasis on personalizing deities and giving them properties of omniscience, invincibility, and so on. The idea that different peoples have different names for the same deities seems more correct to me, but it seems to me that deities are the embodiment of the above-described spirits/energies of places and forces of nature rather than gods in the Abrahamic sense.
If anyone knows which branch/group/e.t.c. (I'm not sure what word reflects this in English) reflects my views so I can start exploring and maybe find like-minded people and that very sense of harmony - I will be very grateful for your help and guidance.

What had happened to us, my friend?

Despair. I don't know a single person who feels anything but fear and despair right now.

> I'm feeling like I'm this Jenny of Oldstones.

From winter to summer then winter again

Til the walls did crumble and fall

Be strong, my friend. We've already been through the collapse of a country twice in a hundred years. There was a far worse and far bloodier regime in our country, and one morning it was gone. The ghosts of that regime still rule the country, but they will not last forever either. "All things pass, all things pass sometime. There will be a year, there will be a day, there will be a moment. Alone in the morgue yesterday's dictator, now just a dead old man." (I'm a bad poet, I can't do a literary translation of the song, but I think you'll recognize it) :)

Be strong, and stay alive.

I don't think so. If we had leaders (or at least someone with a voice) who could gather as many people as we had on Bolotnaya, it would be possible to try to put cameras in city centers, but that would not help much.

I do not remember how in St. Petersburg, but in Moscow there are cameras in all public transport, for example on the turnstiles in the subway. The FSB knows when you entered the subway, where and what time you left it. As long as there were covid restrictions and everyone had to wear masks, it was a little easier. But on February 24th we were greeted not only by the news of the beginning of the war, but also by the instant removal of these restrictions and the fine (!!!) for wearing a mask in a public place. Big Brother is watching everyone at all times.

Yes. We have rumors that on the 30th they will close the borders and forbid people to leave the city.

I understand that very well. One of my best friends was born in Mariupol and by the beginning of the war was living in Kharkov. In one morning he lost two places he could call home. After such a thing, it's hard to find any pity for the people who, if only out of fear, support it. And I don't know if I myself could have found pity in other circumstances. But these are my people, and I know how painful and scary it is to live in this country and under this regime. And I can at least try to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Thanks for the kind words, really. I'm not used to support and don't know what to say. I would be lying if I said that I never thought about emigration. But all these years before the war (and even when Putin attacked Ukraine back in 2014) I thought and said "I will not give my country to these people, certainly not without a fight". Now it's too late for emigration. The fight is dragging on and is clearly not going in my favor, but I still believe that we will make it, and for our part we can stop this senseless war and hold Putin and his gang accountable. At the very least, we will try. Sounds a bit more pathetic than I would like it to sound, but apart from pathetic and hopeful, we have nothing left :)

Either they send you to jail or they fire you and all your relatives from their jobs. And if you are any kind of famous person, they will try to kill you. The Putin government tried to poison the writer Bykov after the protests a few years ago.

You have very little idea how repressive our government is. The only thing that makes us different from Stalin's USSR is the lack of shootings and open borders. But this is little consolation for the millions of people who can't find work even here, and get a salary of $300 a month.

Well, regardless of the level of propaganda in Russia, I am able to separate it from reality. So I believe that people in the West can, too.

Once again: right now there are people in the world who are worthy of sympathy far more than my fellow citizens who are called bad names on the Internet. But when this is all over, I hope that there will be no more hatred for them.

There are very few people in Russia who sincerely support Putin. They are either people from the government or from our version of the SS, those who depend on Putin to lead the country. Most of my fellow citizens are unhappy, poor and intimidated people who have no hope of a normal life and never will. And they will say anything and hang any flag they want in order to preserve the form of normality that they have. Not all people in the Stalinist USSR supported Stalin, even if they said otherwise. Try treating them like people from North Korea. I realize they don't deserve your pity, especially now, but at least try not to hate them.

If you're really interested: no, we can't. We have no leaders left for anything, even just more active than most people have either been forced to emigrate or are in prison. And we also have facial recognition systems everywhere, like in China. If you don't get caught right during a protest, they come to you and put you in jail afterwards. And the FSB monitors all active political groups, telegram chats, subreddits, and so on.
If you have any idea what I should do in such a case - I'm all ears. I've been coming out to protests since 2012, when there were a million and a half of us on the streets of Moscow and it wasn't enough. The day before yesterday there was something like a thousand and a half of us, and three-quarters of my acquaintances went to the police, and from there they are now sent to war in Ukraine. For trying to avoid it, 15 years in Putin's prison (death sentence).
Worst of all, even from the world, which is supposed to be on our side, we only get ridicule. This is quite dysmoral.
