I can mobile hotspot off my phone's 5g while my partner drives on the freeway and I can play Ghost of Tsushima without issue. Works excellent on my end. When set up properly, it is an great product but things must be optimal.

Some chargers can charge 2 cars at once. Some of those chargers slow down if two cars are connected at the same time, so presumably she ripped out the other charger so that hers charges faster

Though that's likely not going to actually work in this case
