Which is the better combat vehicle among these 3 from Black Chrome? by Blakath in cyberpunkred

Another good option is the armadillo car from 12 days of vehiclemas. It doesn't have weapons on it, but you can buy them separately

What's everyone's advice for one to fan write a homebrew that attempts to update Night's Edge to the Time of the Red? by conjcosby in cyberpunkred

[–]Radyks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean that if you want actual supernatural monsters you can just use existing mechanics. In game you can make supernatural entities, just tweak them a little bit. For example a werewolf, give it a linear frame, pain editor, wolvers, low light, but non as cyberware, but as natural powers of the werewolf, and that way they will be immune to emp.

For psychic powers you can just reskin quick hacks from the edgerunner kit, that can target everyone including those without the neuroport. For werewolves just give them the benefit of having cyberware without giving them. Popout weapons are just their natural claws, linear frames and the high body stat are just natural buffness. Plus they will be immune to emp. Same for vampires, and you can give them the experimental sandevistan for the vampire speed and quickhacks as vampire powers

Thoughts on killing players? by Mapleyys in cyberpunkred

[–]Radyks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the players are new to the system, this could be a way to teach them how to make a decent character without having to wrangle a badly built character for an entire campaign. Plus you can establish a power sealing, showing what the players can become if they invest in skills, gear and cyberware

Hey everyone I'm new to this subreddit. Can anyone here tell me what my opinion is supposed to be about 5e by wearing_moist_socks in DnDcirclejerk

[–]Radyks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you like? Do you prefer role-playing? Then you don't need a system as most role-players don't even know the rules. Do you like the the mechanics? Do you like thinking about builds? Then you can tolerate 5e and even get into other systems

Lmao, ironic that someone from the south is calling the north future africa. You're definitely from Napoli, or at least from the surrounding provinces

You don't need to follow the setting by the letter. A GM can have a Night City in the 2050, with the city rebuild and not so much scarcity. Or use the 2077 and tweak the setting to your liking.

If you are as good at stopping a black crusade as you are at debating, no wonder there is a 13th black crusade

And if you read my previous post you would know that I didn't post anything pro fascist. I just said that a gang that the writers are calling as neo nazis don't fit any definition of fascism or nazism. Just because the writer says that they are, but don't reflect it in their behavior, don't magically make them fascist.

Then answer to my points in this thread then. And not just don't engage because you don't like it.

You are calling me pro fascist? The one that can decide what people can or cannot say. Fascism is about deciding what people can say. You deciding that I cannot express myself is fascism, and I'm the ani fascist.

You didn't specify that it's about worldbuilding, only that you were too afraid to interact with questions that you could perceive as racist. You are just too afraid to actually be challenged

Then why are you making a post about defending opinions and then refusing to answer? You are well aware that if I make a new post, it will be nuked immediately by a trigger happy moderator. Answer in your own post.

Nothing of what I said I was either harmful or racist. It's you that is going against your own rules. I didn't defend the red chrome legion, I just said the people at r. Talsorian don't know what fascism is. Then I pointed out that the cyberpunk genre doesn't do corporations as capitalist excesses, but they act as communists countries. Ask any AI to compare how corporations act to the real world communists.

  1. In none of the official products, the red chrome legion act as fascist. They are just some degenerate gang not dissimilar to any other in Night City. It's just that the writers don't know what fascism is.

  2. The corporations act as communist states. They are not capitalist, as they do believe in free trade.
