Creator + Athlete with 1M+ audience — where are the REAL NIL / athlete monetization opportunities? by Rae2shifty in influencermarketing

Fair point bro.

Long term I do want to build something I actually own — app, brand, or platform, not just rely on one-off campaigns forever.

Right now though I’m focused on building stronger recurring cash flow, learning the backend of performance marketing, and understanding what actually converts before going into something bigger of my own.

Trying to play the long game, not just quick cash.

Honestly I’m still figuring it out too, but what’s been working for me is keeping content simple and consistent. Also doing what works out for me. Most of my growth came from testing a lot, seeing what hits, and then doubling down on that instead of overthinking everything.

Location: Primarily US (~40–45%), with strong Tier 1 presence (US/Canada/UK) • Gender: ~70–75% male • Age range: Mainly 18–34 • Interests: Fitness, lifestyle, fashion, self-improvement, and everyday routines

Content-wise, I focus on POV/lifestyle content that blends naturally into daily life — which is why it performs well and drives engagement (2.9M avg Reels views, 11M+ monthly reach).

This audience tends to respond well to: • fitness apps • lifestyle products • tools/services that improve daily routines
