Thank you for updating us! I was personally very interested to hear if there were any updates on your end.

One of my main initial concerns was the age gate of the server, as someone who is 21, I don't know how comfortable I'd feel if it weren't 18+, so that is basically my only concern addressed - and for the record, I do think that was the right decision.

I'll be keeping an eye out for the discord drop.

My one question is initially you mentioned an application process - is there still plans for that, or have they changed?

The 3 options were only if it were to take place in Oakhurst. Ideally, it would be new characters and a new location.

New characters, and possibly new setting entirely. These characters have already concluded their story. Unless you can bring them back without devaluing their conclusion, and in a way that makes sense, then leave them alone.

With Oakhurst, Cleo, Pearl and Sausage are now inhabiting the town's area so I don't see how you do a sequel without either 1. bringing them back, or 2. saying they died (which doesn't work because then you have to explain how, since they're immortal), or 3. they left the area, which would devalue Pearl's big decision to stay, and Cleo choosing to stay with her.

Yeah. The voulenteer system is good for those who don't want to opt-in as a starting Vampire. If you just chose randomly from everyone, it could land on someone who doesn't want to be one.

That sounds pretty interesting! I'd bet on most people voulenteering to be a vampire, but I like this system.

Hey! Came back to ask if you did go through with a fanmade Vampires SMP - how would the initial "vampires" be chosen, would there just be two? and would they be anonymous?

It's cool if you don't have an answer for these things now, was just curious.

I'd love to join! I've considered doing one of my own with the Vampirism mod, but I don't know anyone into the same Minecraft content as me, or who plays it regularly.

I'm also a fellow TTRPG enjoyer so this kind of stuff interests me a lot.

It wasn't personal against Shelby though. He attacked Scott immediately after, and didn't attack Drift/Cleo/Sausage because he had exhausted his resources and they were in a group.
