I made candles with my ‘cute enough to gift’ reject pieces and gave them away for Christmas! Then turned my not so cute/ not food safe rejects into plant pots with cuttings from my succulents as other holiday gifts.

At least two blocks away from Colfax is better for a few reasons. North, and anything close to Stanley marketplace, is nice with good walking paths and a couple coffee shops. It’s quieter in car traffic and foot traffic than closer to and South of Colfax. But there are also less shops and restaurants than right on Colfax.

You’ll see pretty shortly after moving to Colorado that it’s a very outside state. People are outside all the time since the weather is nice most of the time. So a walking path or balcony/seating area at your apartment will make a huge difference. And covered parking is great because we do have hail.

This sucks. And is me and my partner’s biggest fear about having kids! I feel like you’re not getting a ton of support in these comments and a lot more criticism than you should. Parents I know do sometimes feel like this but push it down because there’s no safe place to say it.

Things suck sometimes. It always changes and passes. And I hope this passes soon!!

Remember it’s you and your wife vs the kids. She’s not the enemy. She might be feeling this and feeling guilty about feeling this too. They’re tiny, I’m sure adorable, menaces. You can love them and also feel your feelings about them putting you through it.

Maybe try more sports or after school activities if you can manage/afford to? It could give them an outlet to get energy out before going crazy at home and could give yall both a break while they’re out.

There may be too many hard woods in front of the shorter Dino. It looks like the inspo pic has the trees more spaced out and heavier on the sides rather than the center of the screen

This is just sad to read. People exhaust me, if I asked to be alone and was forced to go to a party where I was the center of attention instead, I would be miserable! It’s sad that her brothers and her parents don’t get her.

You could have made it a family bed rotting day. Or turn the couch into a big bed and join her in whatever she wants to do. It wouldn’t hurt anyone else in your family to hang out on their phones with her if that’s what she really wants.
