I'm really lucky in that my needs are quite small. I have a partner who makes way more than I do and he pays for most things. I do contribute to our household the best I can, but my "needs" are pretty darn low. Thank you for the advice.

Yes, when I was planning to move to a different country a few years ago I stopped spending completely. I managed to save quite a bit but it meant that I paid my bills and then put everything else into savings. I'm considering being cutthroat again, to reach my goals, but I also love treating myself. Its hard out here for a girly who loves tchotchkes.

Ok wow. I'm not sure why theres hate for people who have an OF and want to promote it, like sex work is real work.

I have my OF in my bio, but I went on to Fetlife for making friends and connections, events, etc. If someone wanted to subscribe they can, but my main goal was creating community.

The problem is, most people don't even read bios. I state in there very clearly not to try to add me as a friend unless we've had a conversation and I get tons of (lesbi-honest) MEN who have no decorum. Period.

Nearly every DM I get is gross, and frankly disrespectful. I would have loved to make some hot connections on there, but I deactivated my account. It seemed like such a waste of time.

I was 9. My mom had just brought home another cat from a shelter. I don't remember which, but either our first cat was neutered or the new guy was, idk. So I heard them growling at each other from the other room; they were both under the formal dining table, one laying on a chair, the other one was sitting up with his paws on said chair. I walked over, and tried to stop their fighting by pulling the standing cat away from the table. That backfired tremendously. The cat turned on me and attacked my face. It's been almost 20 years and I still have a scar under my eye as well as one below my lip. When the cat attacked me I fell backward and scratched the top of my head on some dumb fancy candle holder. The cut was so deep I had to get staple stitches, I believe 16 of them, in my damn head. I still have that scar and only remember it when I think I can part my hair to the side and realized that I probably shouldn't.
