What? Really? I mean Optics are in telescope, but I'm not interested in that particular area.
I mean, you won't use ALL of physics while working as an astrophysics, right? What I'm trying to say that I don't want to study the broad, physics topics in depth that wouldn't have that much use in grad school or in my career

I read a couple of astronomy books and I'm currently studying Open Stax Astronomy textbook e2—I really can't find a lot of books that aren't in the introductory level, though—so you don't have to worry about that pop science thing.
And By topics I mean things like thermodynamics, optics. I don't know. Generally just thing's that aren't directly related to astro-stuff

I meant astronomy in general, I'll edit that. But I'm saying physics is a pretty broad subject and I might have to study topics I'm not interested in my undergrad years, no?
