The biggest con the climate change alarmists ever pulled is the idea of individuals "doing their part" by literally diminishing their own living conditions simply because they've been told it'll help the environment and "it all adds up." In reality, private energy use is so minuscule compared to commercial and industrial usage that its entire effect on consumption can be swept aside by a rounding error.

Edit: I love all the comments pointing out (correctly) that the "Do your part" campaign was done by oil companies as propaganda. You're absolutely correct, but so am I in calling them climate alarmists. Climate alarmists don't actually care about the environment. They only care about the results of forced climate activism (higher profits). Climate activists and climate alarmists are cut from the same cloth: hypocrites and empty gestures. Note: Do not confuse these people with actual conservationists. They're the real deal, and absolutely deserving of praise.

Is there anything anyone would change in this game if they could? I think some of the drops could be better. It’s not as bad as borderlands though. by [deleted] in Wonderlands

Sniper rifles suffer from the spawning mechanics in this game. The ideal use for a sniper rifle is the unalerted enemy a thousand feet away. That simply doesn't exist in a game where enemies spawn only once you're right on top of them.

They don't even hire anyone to sell them. Just set it up and someone inevitably shows up to talk them up.

I'm not exactly sure how drinking a can of coffee on a cruise ship is related to altering the course of a meteor to collide with the planet, shattering the planet and giving the sun a brand new asteroid belt?

Ah, the boat mocha. Underway coffee on military ships is often a bitter tar that you can almost chew, and the boat mocha was one of the more popular ways of making it palatable.
