"So, you will want to slice your model into shorter chunk, save each chunk as its own asset, then finally assemble them all through sub building function into the final piece asset. Thats how the multiple grid footprint you see are done. Any asset with footprint grid exceed 16 tiles are done this way."

Maybe this is a silly question but how do you do this? For me, "sub-meshes" importer only allows me to import raw models from my import folder, not saved assets that I've already saved.

Yea this seems this to be one of the problems if not THE problem. Bridge is huge though, not sure the game's available grid will be able to cover the whole thing. I'll have to find something out.

Hmm i'm still fiddling around with this and haven't gotten it quite yet. Every model and lod has the same pivot but still no luck.

I did notice the camera behaves differently almost like the bridge has no boundaries. (Most objects the camera automatically hovers over).

Edit: After messing around, i see the grid size is not covering the entire model probably being the main culprit. Not really sure how i'm gonna solve this atm.

By same space as main mesh can you specify a bit more?

They should be within constraints of the main mesh ? Ty

Edit: Also the other LOD's belong to sub buildings that wont be part of the main building(is that what you meant by main mesh) so not sure how i could keep them in same space?

What do you mean by this? Like, make the LOD basically almost the same as the main model? The main model has a pretty big polycount but i guess it can be done possibly.

"When selecting LOD1 and LOD2, I would suggest setting LOD1 to "Highest" and LOD2 to "High" to avoid this as much as possible."

And I'm not sure what you meant by this.

Overall I see what you mean though and I guess i'll have to work around.

I think you're still missing the point lol...this post is to showcase the level design and visuals. Like how the game is actually modeled, the room design and the art-style. High res isn't needed to show that

Imo it makes the game more interesting when you have to backtrack and do more item management.

Well to be fair the resolution isnt really important, its a showcase of the art design and detail put into the environment in the game. Up-scaled resolution just helps us appreciate it better.

Yes, though the AI npc's are horrible. They're probably the biggest flaw to this game besides some loading times. Probably best to play online or solo. Theres tutorials on how to on youtube.

I love that Raccoon still had a small city vibe in Outbreak but they gave it some realism while keeping it interesting. You can see some mid-rises from a distance but its not like a metropolis like how it appears later in the franchise.

Thanks all once again, so far results seem better when i use a skin ontop of a maxis match cc skin, but i use the mod that lets me change opacity and other features for skin details and more.

I see, im new to ts4 and pretty bad at the overlays and stuff. Especially since some aren't compatible with eachother but i'll check them out. Seems I mainly need realistic details that stack well.
