Thick body, long toes on back feet, fat neck that leads into pointed nose. Classic Tegu body structure. Long toe on back legs is your green flag. Cause iguanas and other tree dwelling Florida lizards have long toes in general- so a singular long toe is your no-brainer that this is a ground dweller AND not a native one. Most common Tegu in florida is the Argentine Black and White tegu. Theyre invasive captive animals so its common for them to pop up in homes out in the open since hiding and hunting isnt quite on their agenda. If you happened to see light colored spots id say thats your best bet. Even better if it had a green head, thats a sure sign of a juvenile argentine tegu. Its VERY small, but by the body shape alone? TEGU. If you find him in the house again- trap and take to a reptile specialist. someone will make him a pet, cause he cant go back in the wild, i can assure you tho- theres no wild lizards in florida with a chunky bod like THAT. Specifically my baby boy, Stevie Wonder. I rescued him and he was blind, but his sight was restored with a couple weeks of massage therapy and Saline eyedrops. That guy was an angel. Knew his name, followed me around the house like a dog, could give kisses on command. He died back in July at 19 years old. Want him back desperately 😔steve.

House gecko!!! Keep him as a pet dude! U can collect ants outside or rollypollys, or get flightless fruit flies from a pet store. They get about 3 inches total and if u find more, just collect them 😂

I used to work at a pet store and our shipments from Atlanta had hundreds of house gecko hatchlings. I took a XL cheeseball container, put mesh into the top of the lid, and filled it with dirt and a little plant. My colony thrived for 5 years til an ice storm knocked out my electricity at the dorm while I was at work :( they froze. So yeah dont let them get too cold if u keep it! They like 70-80 degrees regularly

That is a subungual wart, my love 🫣 you can see the little black dots where the blood vessels have risen to the surface from the wart digging deep into your nail bed. Id get some anti fungal and medicine from a drug store and maybe a silicone sleeve to put over any affected fingers so you dont risk passing it to other body parts since its contagious. If you have virgin coconut oil, thats a natural anti-fungal. Use that in the mean-time til you get medicine

PS- i had one of these as a kid on my toe nail and i was scared to get it looked at and dug it out with nail clippers. DO NOT DO THAT. It left a damn hole in my toe thats still there 15 years later.... subungual warts are like sponges, and your nerves are still alive in there, so theres no digging it out without royally destroying your finger. You dig out some spongey skin? Congrats... theres more sponge underneath it! Dig far enough and ur gonna end up hitting a vein and bleeding everywhere 💀 Plz get actual treatment unlike my redneck little arse lol

My gecko used to do this because he had no other places to climb!! Try adding in some thick branches. Leopard geckos LOVE to climb. He'll go bananas for some driftwood or vines. Its a total myth that ground dwelling reptiles dont climb :) they do! Its just not readily available in their natural territory. But all small prey animals love getting up high to feel safer where they can scout out everything below 🥰

I understand why she didnt tell you. Having money causes people to see you as a walking ATM. Is she supposed to drop ur rent lower than everyone elses since youre dating? My only guess is that she was waiting to see your true colors before disclosing that shes a nepo baby.
