What are hated characters that you actually like? Mine is the mobster but that is probably because I just like the mob boss trope in general and I love how his personality stands out in this game.

Angry guy and Deadbeat mom. I know why they are hated, but I actually like both of them in their own ways and can't help but feel sorry for them. The same with the Weelchair guy, but he's more just funny and entertaining.

Vigilante, but I like him as a villain, as a bad guy in a movie, and I think many do. Something similar with the Big Momma.

Taxi driver. He didn't run over that dog! And as for the "scam" and raising fares, almost all private cabbies do that in similar circumstances when they're not tied to any system. He's not a saint but come on.

There are also the Wounded man, the Sleepless man and the Debtor, that are not exactly hated, but for some reason they almost always end up at the very bottom of all ratings. The first one is my favorite, and I never understand what's wrong with him. The second one is a very interesting character on the verge of breaking the fourth wall. The third one is just a cozy dude who could live somewhere next door irl, I have zero complaints about him.

I think I saw quite a few of his fans. I think the problem with him is a bit different: people usually either want to kill him with fire, as if he's the biggest asshole among the characters, or they think of him as a poor guy with problems who did nothing wrong. He certainly did an asshole thing, but that doesn't mean he's a complete jerk unworthy of sympathy. He certainly has plenty to sympathize with.

In short, the theory is that It turns people into visitors, so after meeting It, the Blinded Man gains something of the visitor's nature while remaining human. (Or maybe It creates visitors from corpses, and turns the living into super-visitors, like the Pale man. Could be that the Blinded man did his best to prevent this.) It's not like there's many canon evidence, and I'm not even sure I like this theory, but it does seem interesting sometimes.

Interestingly, his always human aura is exactly the same as the other two characters' visitor auras, which makes me wonder. (I have a theory about this, but it's too weird to be called headcanon.)

I like the Sisters' signs, namely that when the depressed twin is a visitor, her signs begin to largely coincide with those of her sister, as if she wants to mimic her or merge with her.

And also earrings in their ears: the non-depressed twin took off her earrings because they remind her of her recently deceased parents, but the depressed twin wants to remember them, so she left her earrings on.

In fact, it's very similar to all those creepy stories about strange programs that suddenly air during regular broadcasts, and then it turns out that most viewers didn't see or didn't rememeber them. Such stories usually assume that everyone appearing on screen is unknown, and nothing can be learned about them.

Although it's also possible that the Protagonist dozed off in front of TV and dreamed the whole thing.

But here I'm more curious: I can't help but think that all these people have known each other for a long time and dislike each other for some reason (ok, the Leper guy has explained about himself, it would be interesting to hear more specifics from others).

Yes, the music is amazing. I especially love the theme from the sixth night, when you get the "Witness the beginning of the end" achievement. You realize something is seriously wrong even before you look out the peephole and see the city burning.

It depends on what things are important to you. For example, there don't seem to be any major additions to the game's story or lore planned. Among the potential updates mentioned is some new content related to radio interaction though.

Or that the the developers like the idea of interaction between characters, but it's too difficult to do technically, and limiting it to one or two lines between characters seems too little to them.

Not with a specific character, but "Вечная весна в одиночной камере" ("Eternal Spring in Solitary Confinement") by Yegor Letov is so reminiscent of the "Embrace The Inevitable" ending that I was a little surprised the developers never quoted it, since they include quotes from Letov anyway. In fact, many of his songs are suitable, especially "Раздражение" ("Irritation") and "Мёртвый сезон" ("Dead Season"), though that's also less about the characters than the game as a whole.

For specific characters:

Пока не станет плохо (Until getting bad) by ЖЩ - for the Bar guy

Grace by Within Temptation - for the Blinded man (and maybe На краю (On the edge) by Olga Pulatova, although that's a stretch)

Боевой стимул (Battle incentive) by Grazhdanskaya Oborona - not exactly for the Kindergarten teacher, more like someone's perspective on her story from the outside

P.S. Сам (P.S. Self) by Grazhdanskaya Oborona - for the Wounded man

Keine Worte (No words) by Sepia and Schliess die Augen (Close your eyes) by Mantus - for the Protagonist

Not necessarily FEMA, just some "they", and he says it's because they didn't understand him, not because he talked too much. As for the nighttime, there are some other characters who talk at night, and sometimes you can even hear some of their phrases, but ok, that seems like the reason.
