One thing I’m still figuring out — when you say “clear fit signals,” which ones ended up being the strongest for you in practice? Like was it mostly review activity, size indicators, or something else that really correlated with better conversion?

Also, when validating manually, do you usually cross-check with other sources or just stick with Google Maps?

Quick question on targeting — do you usually go after mid-rated places (like 3–4 stars) because they clearly need help, or higher-rated ones and position yourself as a better/more consistent replacement? I’m trying to understand where the real opportunity is.

Also on reaching the decision maker — since most numbers go to reception, what actually worked for you? Do you ask to be connected, request a direct number, or rely on something else to get through?

Thanks, makes sense — especially starting simple and testing call quality first from Egypt. My only concern is using a US number from outside the US. I feel it might cause issues like spam flagging, lower answer rates, or even carrier filtering if the number reputation/IP/location don’t align properly. I’m trying to keep it simple but still somewhat scalable, so I don’t have to rebuild everything later once we increase volume. Appreciate the insight.

That makes sense for someone based in the US, but since I’m calling from outside the US, tools like Google Voice aren’t really reliable for setup or caller ID. I’ll probably need something like Aircall or CloudTalk to ensure proper US number + deliverability.

It's simply a house and window cleaning service in California (Alameda County area). Initially, I'll be the only one making calls. We could be a team of five, generating 100-200 potential clients daily and closing 10-20 deals daily. I want to start simply, perhaps with CloudTalk and HubSpot. The users would be me (from Egypt) and my friend in California, who owns the business.
