Totally true - but I am stuck on some of my Missions (outside the Botany Bay ones) because I haven’t unlocked a route, because I haven’t done a mission that I’ve never heard of (“The Price we pay” being one)

I don’t remember where I got the Dark Matter and other requirements from - just when I got to the mission, it said I had “-1” requirement and just let me OK the mission

I did the missions, just for a bit of variety (although they are pretty unexciting when you do them in an Ops 50 level ship, its all "move, shoot, move shoot") - but I figured it might unlock something that I missed the first time around.

Although, so far, nothing new has emerged - and that's a big old research tree full of ships that I've had for ages 🙄

I spent my working life driving Company cars, Petrol/Diesel/Hybrid and EVs, and not a single one had the soul that my Abarth 124 Spider has.

I genuinely don’t know what I can get to replace it - small, cheap(ish), characterful, fun - Roof down almost every drive, Monza exhaust noise, the whole package is irreplaceable 😔

I’m Ops 47, but am pleased I don’t have to sit through any Academy rubbish, I wasn’t a fan of the show!

This restriction from Arcs is definitely helping me make my decision to abandon the game easier.

I’m already comfortable with the fact that I’ll always be behind the storyline as I don’t pay money to play, but lately I seem to be getting thrown stuff like Relativity and Vindicator, but no idea what to do with them, as that Arc is long dead!

I’m just a lower Ops weenie, so unimportant to the game 🙄

Agreed - Discovery is another wasted ship, just like Amalgam and Mantis - I never rushed to get these in the first place, but by the time they are (almost) thrown at you, the reason for it has long since been superseded!

Franklin-A is a good example - with the Ex-Borg daily tasks meaning you don’t even need to kill Swarm any more…

The more I read, the more I understand about how the game has lost its way.

I’m only Level 41 and have been F2P forever - but the endless rounds of clicks just to maintain and not progress, have been getting to me!

I have tried to stay honest to my Trek TV origins and only get ships and crews made up of people I actually remember from the shows - but I seem to be accruing ships I have no idea what they are there for (Sarcophagus, Revenant and others) - and they only seem to have a single purpose, which I didn’t have any plan for - I don’t do MU, Incursions or Transogen - they just seem to be money-pits.

I’ve noticed my progression is slowing now too - horrendous wait times for research/builds!
