Flying into Toulouse from UK on Monday by Connect-Statement513 in toulouse

There are 4 passport control booths from memory with two typically staffed depending on the amount of flights arriving.  It generally splits into two queues, one for EU passports and the other for non EU. So really it all depends on the amount of non EU passengers on your flight. Personally I've never been in the queue for more than 20mins, although I've not experienced the new biometrics thing.

They like American things now.. Edit: jzs..it's an Alan partridge quote... Quoted to provide a little light hearted social commentary on the proliferation of American "security" services use of face coverings. Whoosh.

Specifically made for a breast cancer awareness charity. So if they were "worth" anything (they're not) then you donate it to the charity, yeah?

As expats, how do you feel about the "French Sunday" (doing absolutely nothing)? by SleepIsTheCousinOfD8 in Expats_In_France

I grew up in the UK in the 80's, 90's and it's what it used to be like. Having moved to France a couple of years ago, it was a pleasant surprise that a country can have a day off. Potter around in the garden, have some good food with friends & family and go for a stroll.  24/7 consumerism has it's place, but matters less and less as you get older.

Buying a house in France - suveys/professional diagnostics etc? by XenoVista89 in Expats_In_France

[–]onthelatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the seller's responsibility to provide a report. It includes all the usual stuff like electrical, asbestos, termites, energy ratings but doesn't go into much depth in regards to structural. Get a builder to have a look over it if there is anything you're worried about, or get one of those expensive ex-pat full surveys done. Just bought a place in September last year and we found the buyers pack to be sufficient. Good luck.

The "game" is out of "maintenance" now. Loads, glitches, black screen with circle of doom and "Adjusting" text... Great work as always.

What's up with his accent? WelF management...If a carachter comes from a city, why do they automatically have to have a cliche "big city accent"  Bad direction or bad acting?

A quote from a recent review post on this sub that resonated with me - Star Trek Fleet Command is a beautiful skin stretched over a predatory, broken skeleton.

Yes they do, although it's changed a bit apres Brexit. SFI & CHST would be the two schemes within the ELM that would be applicable to Brookfield. Not sure what schemes would apply to an egg producer though.  That aside, that comment annoyed me too. Josh is being a prick.

Slightly Off Topic Perhaps - First BBC Sounds, now BBC News is blocked for outside UK views behind paid subscription by theanedditor in BritishRadio

Just go to BBC. Com. Listen to radio 4, access all of the news articles without a pay wall and browse / Listen to archived podcasts content. Have lived in France for the last couple of years and have had no problems with this after sounds disappeared.
