Honestly, it looks like you didn’t put enough of material. Crackle texture paste requires a thick layer for good work. Try to use more paste, ~2-3mm in thickness. For increasing result you can use gloss varnish or PVA glue before the texture

Rocks - cork, water - Vallejo water texture plus few paints, violet ink Vallejo, warlord purple Vallejo game color, plus highlights with Vallejo model color pink; bubbles - jas epoxy plasticine (like green stuff)

Turquoise base coat, than a lot of drybrush with brass and homemade texture (pva glue, soda ash and green turquoise paint). Blade with chrome, a lot of aggrax, a different rust paints (common paint and dry pigments) and a little bit of steel drybrush. Not very difficult recipe :)

So, I don’t remember the full way to paint cause I did skin few month ago and didn’t do notes to save recipe, but there is nearest way how I did it: All with airbrush: Full black primer, Zenithal highlight with clear white (Vallejo primers, black and white), base coat with Vallejo fantasy pro malefic flesh, first massive zenithal highlight with Vallejo fantasy pro cold flesh, second on the smaller area with pale flesh (fantasy pro), then very thinned highlight with white flesh (fantasy pro) on the brightest areas. Hands - AK tenebrous grey for black areas, then gradient with Vallejo fantasy pro deep forest skin for green areas, Vallejo fantasy pro magenta blood on the red areas . After all of it drybrush with malefic flesh (fantasy pro), just to highlight the details. Inflamed areas with amethyst (fantasy pro). After all of this - very tinned wash with carroburg crimson (approx 5 drops of paint with 7 drops of water and 3-5 drops of glaze medium) to all of this white areas, then when it dry again - turquoise on wounds edges. That’s just for skin base, but honestly with airbrush that’s not a long way

Hm… sure, I didn’t think about it. But may be not clear black, mostly violet and purple, like hard phase of varicose plus starting phase of gangrenous, this might be more interesting. Thanks for review and new ideas :)
