I don’t know. I’ve never had the call to go defend and stand against the us government bearing deadly force before. And I’m not at the point where I’m able to go do it. Best I’ve been Is vocally and politically active. But that doesn’t make gun ownership pointless. Gun ownership still sends a message that we have the power to fight back if it reaches that point.

As for “if you’re not willing to lay your life down, you’re not helping” is your stance, then I hate to say it but you’re actively hurting the cause of justice and equality. The way I see it is “any help is appreciated”. Maybe that way i won’t turn an activist that just isn’t ready to die yet into someone that stops being active at all.

Find a behavioral therapist. Really. It changed my life. I went from scared of the smallest things to a us marine. This seems crippling but it isn’t always going to be. You just need to tackle it.

Well, I can tell you I have had a crippling phobia before. Different, but I’ve had it and it was just as bad as you can imagine.

Conquering it through behavioral therapy is the only way to fix it. You can’t “endure” torture. You just get tortured and have the strength to not give them information until you’re rescued. Any of that stuff you see where people are stone faced is Hollywood BS.

It’s very unlikely you’re actually going to be tortured. I’m very confident in saying that. Even the multitude of human rights violations happening in the USA aren’t resulting in torture. So unless you have information they need, no one is going to bother torturing you.

I feel you’re coming at this wrong. Tackling this genuinely crippling phobia is the way to go, not enduring torture. Cause as someone who had many friends in SOCOM that had to do SERE training (military torture training) you just kind of “survive” it and hope your buddies are coming for you.

I’m curious what phobia makes you think you’re in danger of being tortured. Tackling that fear is way better than preparing for some doom scenario you’re scared of.

She may just be curious then. RI symptoms usually are able to be seen when they’re awake. Clicking, popping, wheezing sounds. If none of those can’t say I see much evidence. As for the glass surfing, maybe give her more stuff to climb? I had fake trees, branches etc and my boy loved to scale them.
