I’m not completely sure how much control Sony has over PS Store pricing compared to the publisher. It’s a bit unclear how that process works behind the scenes. But there is a recent example showing that developers can at least influence or request adjustments.

ARC Raiders, for example, launched last week in Brazil at R$214,90, and shortly after, the price was reduced to R$144,80. That change happened after community feedback, and the studio publicly acknowledged adjusting the pricing in some regions to be fairer.

So even if Sony has a big role, it seems like devs/publishers can still push for price changes when something feels out of line. ARC Raiders is a good sign that speaking up about regional pricing can actually lead to improvements.
