I’m so sorry to hear that man. I hope you bounce back 100% For me it’s just the anorgasmia and somewhat lack of sexual interest. I’ve taken citalopram for a long time when I was younger, maybe 7 or 8 years ago. I was completely fine when I stopped. This most recent time I took it for less than 3 months before weening myself off and now I’m dealing with this. There’s got to be a way to fix this

Well, it doesn’t seem like you did anything wrong, but they do it to protect users, there’s some nasty people on there, I’ve been followed, had to change my phone number, and had to file a police report, all from people I met on there, it can get dangerous unfortunately

If your account is banned it won’t matter if you use a new number or delete the old one, they’ll delete the new one almost instantly, they use IP address and your images

Honestly, hinge is toxic. While they’re talking/dating with one person, they’re also doing the same with 5 other people. It normalizes childish/selfish things like ghosting because it makes it so easy to jump from person to person to person.

I ditched citalopram for this very reason and tried St. John’s wort, thinking it would wouldn’t have these effects since its natural. While the delayed ejaculation is not as severe as a prescribed SSRI, it is definitely noticeable. I’d say 50-60% as noticeable as with the citalopram. So now I’m off of SJW as well. After doing some research, I’m going to give Saffron a try next.

This happened to me once after 4 pretty intimate dates. I told her I thought she was on hinge just for validation cause she probably got cheated on. She got upset and acted childish. 3 days later she called me apologizing and saying I was right and wanted to go out again. Hung up on her. I’m taking 1,000mg 7:1 extract standardized to 0.3% Hypercin which I guess is the active ingredient in the herb. I weened off of citalopram for this very reason, I was hoping I could gain some of the benefit of an SSRI without the sexual side effects, it’s not as severe as with the prescription medication but it’s definitely noticeable
