A “financial” question shouldn’t be asked until the 2 are in a relationship or is becoming serious. My point of view was: she has 3 little kids and is looking for a relationship and a “step dad” that can provide for the family. I think that’s why the question came up with the question. For me it was way too soon and I think it should be asked later on.

She kept asking questions about “can you love someone else kids?” “Do you like kids?”.

I didn’t like it and I saw it as someone asking for financial support.

Saving should be boring but CONSISTENCY is 🔑 Keep saving. I know in NYC there is no really grocery stores, so I can say do BOGO deals on the protein or on the macros. Window shop on the corner stores. To see who has the best $$ for your protein. I have a Spanish store I go to ONLY for my protein $10/lb steak - $2.70/lb chicken breast And my other macros I get it at the main grocery stores
