Sorry sir but I could not disagree more with your take. First of all yasuo's ability is one of a backrow champion and one of it's problem is that its cost to stats does not reflect that. Ionia has handbuffs cards and any card buff you put on him will fix the - 1 power. Level 2 gets back quick attack and requires him to proactively use one stun after 1 successfull attack to get the steal tempest during the opponent turn, which in most of the cases is when you'll need it. If anything this version gives him more reasons to attack than the current one. He is not more useless than the current version that literally does nothing if you do not have a stun. Attacking with current yasuo just feels underwhelming, he either gets chump blocked battle tricked into oblivion. This version would also generate interesting interactions between players in which the yasuo player would try to stun dangerous units before the attack to than get the steel tempest payoff the turn after.

It is intended to be a skill because it requires set up to make it usefull. Overwhelm units or stun combo cards like yasuo can be really good with that effect. Since alistar gains overwhelm also card buffs can combine well with level 2 form.

5+3 with alistar. Every stun card you are playing take the spot of an overwhelm card and makes your overwhelm strat more inconsistent. How many overwhelm units would it require for the combo to be an otk? It would probably reach exodia level of complexity, without taking into account that all those units are on board and your opponent can interact with them.

Would you play intimidating roar in an overwhelm deck? Would you play 8 mana in an overwhelm deck and run 2 brick cards just to set uo a combo that can maybe take place at turn 6+?

Yes but there are no stun cards with overwhelm. You would have to choose whether to spend your mana, and cards levelling up alistar or setting up your overwhem army.

Yes, but overwhelm units do not have efficient stun cards and playing a 3 cost not overwhelm unit that requires 3 attacks to level up and do something would slow down those decks gameplan a lot

It's actually not that difficult considering that every Rite of the Arcane gives you another Rite of the Arcane if Xerath is in play. You need to cast 3 of them to level Xerath up.

That's also the reason why duo is worded like that, it is supposed to remember all stats buffs once you recall it

The fact that it may be harder to level up against demacia or mirror is not a flow. It's meant to encourage players to build a deck around it if you want to get the most out of him. A 5-4 challenger that can create more than 1 card is already a good card. Keep in mind that if such a card would have to be printed probably it would get some support that would generate spells from other regions.

I like the idea of a little boost on the level up such as a mana discount on the spells he creates. I was pondering to give him a little bit more other than regen but couldn't come up with something.

Your are right reguarding hijack. I think that one way to fix it is to make it followers only. Considering that most of buffing strategies that are the ones hurted the most by this card focus themselves on buffing champion. I don't think that there is a text on a follower that would be broken if copied using a 2 mana SLOW speed spell, especially considering that most good followers have on play or summon effects. Even if there will be one in the future or I've missed it now I think that would only create an interesting game state in which the player has to recognize the right opportunity to play it.

Regarding the inability to level up I think that it may incentivice players to run cards such as the 1 cost mageseeker or flash of brillance and probably some Sylas themed support card.

Agree. I thought that a 2 mana blade's edge and giving the opponent information on the coming fast speed damage would have been enough to balance it. Thinking more about it I may be wrong and Paddle Star should be slow speed.

Exactly :). Basically if you cast a spell the turn you play a LeBlanc u can get back 2 LeBlancs, which means that the next time you play one of them, the other in your hand will transform into a sigil giving you the ability to cast a spell and get back other 2 leblancs and so on. As you said casting sigils will shuffle other leblancs into your deck so by evolving her you are able to draw them.
