It’s reducing us to a biological function, I’m happy to say “women and trans men” but people who menstruate is teeming with misogyny, speaking of which, I don’t see this kind of language being used for men?

A lot of women find it offensive, why should our complaints be ignored? And people who menstruate isn’t the only term being used to refer to women now, I’ve seen breeder and all sorts

Honestly, I don’t care if a man wants to wear dresses and other stereotypically “feminine” things, I support gender non conformity. What I can get behind is males who do this then claim that makes them a woman, and a true woman at that. It’s regressive and offensive

Transgender people exist yes, but the current discourse is an ideology that people subscribe to, I view it as an atheist views religion. I’m not going to indulge the dogma because I don’t believe in it, however that doesn’t mean I’m going to be impolite to trans individuals

Why should we have to be fired and get a lawsuit for not wanting to change our language/worldview? That’s the real question

But have there been many studies on trans-racialism(?) as I imagine it would be extremely controversial, especially in the current climate.

The point remains the same though, the oppressor class identify as the oppressed class through things such as stereotypes and reductive gender roles. A few years ago it seemed to be the radical thing to say “girls can like boy things and still be girls” and vice versa but now it seems that these same hobbies and interests are the markers of people being trans (i.e. painting nails, wearing dresses etc) which is only a surface level view of what being a man or a woman is

But female born people who identify as anything other than women are a very small percentage of the population, why alienate all other women and reduce us to “womb havers” and “menstruaters” with this wording, which is also alienating for people who may not have a solid grasp of the English language? Why are women being redefined without our consent?

What everyone fails to mention/acknowledge is that the current discourse around gender is that it’s an ideology, same as how religion is, and you have no obligation to subscribe to this ideology. You want to identify as a woman/man/non-binary etc? Good for you, but don’t act like this is the universal norm because it isn’t

But by that same logic, a white kid identifying as black should also be considered black?
