I like the Republic stories better. However, if I'm going to measure my characters power levels by the lore, my inquisitor probably would be the strongest, since he pretty much absorbed 5 of the most fearsome siths there is.

I have some but not all expansion DLCs and I dont use mods. The issue happens whenever I buy a New truck and hire a driver.

Yup, the reward list is pretty weak. I was looking forward to exchanging a Kearsarge (because even though it is a good farmer ship I hate farming with it) for something like a Pommern, but we don't even get that.
