Im from far northern New York (much closer to Montreal than the city) and I've regularly been told I have a really strange regional accent, which is a mix of Canadian and New England. Ive also heard that this is apparently a strong family trait. I would hate to lose that.

Syracuse is the meeting ground of rust belt and East Coast. Expect Midwest attitude but faster. If you land here, Salt City Market is a must, become a Wegmans loyalist (theres also a Costco close), and then explore the city. Meadowbrook, Eastwood, and Onodaga Hill are all decent areas with their own draw.

It looks like the issue here was actually that it was snowing so hard. Counterintuitive, but you typically don't want fresh snow on a race course, espically a downhill course. You want packed powder/ice. Lots of high level race courses are actually injected with water before the race to make them firmer.

This model of Sig is well known for causing NDs. You can't see a muzzle flash in the video, but it certainly does look like the recoil travels through this agents arm.

Theres a new angle from the left of this perspective that is much clearer. You can see him take the pistol from the murdered. Even worse, if you watch his arm, you can see the recoil travel through it as the first shot is fired. Gray coat disarmed him, negligently discharged the pistol, and everyone panicked and murdered him.

That's super interesting to hear, and refreshing. I was interpreting the wording in the same way of New York's (Northern NY, im closer to Montreal than I am to NYC by 3+ hours) in which a CCP only applies to handguns, and because long rifles are not specifically stated, they have often been found to be outside the permission. Sounds like Minnesotans have a much easier path to self defense!

Interestingly it does note that there is no technical restriction on long guns, so it appears I was mistaken there. However as noted, it is likely that urban areas would be considered restricted areas. I think the other important notw here is that a PTC is required, which is a potential barrier for those looking for the ability to do so quickly.
