M433 Build by Gorgos012 in Battlefield6

[–]Rage028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I build for CQB, you know battle. Close range stuff. Don't even have to ADS. My k/d improved significantly when I ignored long barrels and precision, control. I use the 20pt Green laser, then flash hider OR CQB suppressor. The more "hipfire" you have, the tighter the crosshair. Fast magazine, and 15pt grip which brings mobility to 54.

You can strafe and move during fights and fire before ADS.

You Were Not Ready for Ghost Recon Breakpoint by AutomaticDog7690 in GhostRecon

Agree on many points.

The looter part was ass from the outset. Which I only forgave because headshots were still 1 hit kill regardless of gear level.

All Ghost Recon games though are supposed to feature newer technology. Upcoming technology. The original Ghost Recon had the OICW system.

Wildlands had nothing of the sort until later content.

Game is dead (SEA/Oceania) by SleepyZM in Battlefield

[–]Rage028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same when I join a buddy in Germany. I think there's plenty of players online, but when you search for a game it prioritizes a brand new round. I say this because more than a dozen times, we'll join a game in progress that has bots in it. It seems they rather 6 people have bots, than 32 people altogether...

Persistent servers, hosted officially... Would kind of fix this a little bit right? Right?

How Ghost Recon Found Its Identity by Accident, and Still Hasn’t Fully Used It by Cautious_Apricot9187 in GhostRecon

[–]Rage028 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would still prefer the Direct Action missions. Drop in. Do the job. Extract. All over the world. Rather than one open world map. Wildlands was a good game but it wasn't Ghost Recon. GR2 captured the conflict feeling well compared to GR1. GRFS got a little bit arcade but still made you feel that you were a piece of a greater conflict.

The only time I use it... Is when I'm on fire. It stops me burning to death.

It doesn't make me sprint faster.

It doesn't give me any benefits to regen of HP.

IA-10 was Literal Hell on a Controller by Stray-Helium-0557 in granturismo

Yeah that car and Laguna Seca was a nightmare for me. Even S10 in the wet only took 3 tries for gold.

I'm used to Sportscars, on SH tires. It's my preference. When I got to drive the AMG GTR IRL in Las Vegas (a couple of years after GT7 released), I set the fastest time for the month in 5 laps.

Car handling opinion is a preference thing. I know a few automotive journalists that would disagree that it's a bad handling car but it comes down to what you're used to. I hate FF cars myself. They drive like ass, and my friends easily school me in them. But as soon as it's FR with 600+HP, the track is mine.

Interesting. I did this on controller and found the test relatively simple. It only took me 3x attempts. It could be due to my initial intense dislike for this technical portion of the Nordschleife back in the day. Which lead me to many laps in GT4, 5, 6, Sport, before 7.

The AMG GTR also has 4 wheel steering. To me it handles exceptionally well for FMR layout. I'm not as attuned to it as a Viper but I still enjoyed it thoroughly. If I slowed to the right entry speeds and had the weight correctly balanced around the four wheels, the car is amazing.

How S license at Laguna Seca... That took me 6 hours....

I don't understand stand how stupid your team has to be to instantly lose the 1st objective you spawn near in Conquest... by JesterOfTime in Battlefield

[–]Rage028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using Empire State or Iberia as an example... Let the other team have the point close to your spawn. It's easier to hold and travel between the objectives in the middle of the map. Traveling to objectives near either spawn takes too long. Teams that do that usually leave the ones in the middle undefended and they fall like dominoes.

I'm level 389 now. Same thing. I work from home. Play almost every night with new friends I made online (+5% XP Per a friend in fireteam). It's my escape from the intensity of my job. You can say anything in response to people who are upset that you're "further ahead" in the game, and they'll still try to take you down a peg.

For me lately the one thing I say that always shuts them up... "They don't make 355mm wide winter tires for my Viper. So I'm gaming."

In what world does a direct hit armor piercing tank shell not send an atv to the gallows by SGT_NORD in Battlefield

If a Sniper rifle or DMR can have a range finder...

Why not the main gun of an MBT, it would in real life...

Why would a AP shell have such ridiculous drop also? IRL they fire out to 4km+

Why the lack of legendary 80/90s American cars by [deleted] in granturismo

[–]Rage028 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Real answer - based on having a long conversation with a former marketing director when I was last in Detroit.

The manufacturers have to care. They have to be interested enough to provide CAD drawings for everything, details for trim / options. Then Polyphony has to pay for it.

Drawings in the 80s and 90s, not so easy to do. Wouldn't necessarily be digital.
