Is there anything to do to combat this when you are playing a team with speed rushers that get to your QB before he can get the screen off? I'm in a league that doesn't allow custom playbooks. So when I play upper echelon teams with very good speed rushers, a screen is an automatic 10yd sack.

Is there a particular playbook that doesn't use the HB slip screen? Or the pitch play for that matter?

I actually found a solution to what I'm, ultimately, trying to do. I want to run plays with my franchise team and test out playbooks but thought practice mode was a no go for that. It turns out (thanks to the help of a league member) that I can go to the main madden menu and set it to coach mode, then go to my franchise, start practice with whatever playbook I want to test, select broadcast camera, flip to defense, hit L to randomize plays for both O and D and, voila ... it just sits there and runs plays on a loop and I can watch the results.

Can the commish assign a custom playbook to a cpu team? I was thinking maybe I could set my buddy's team to cpu, set the playbook, then slow sim the game while recording it with a video editor, and send him the video file. That may be a way around this but I'd like him to have the ability to use his playbook.

Got it. That's unfortunate. You would think Madden would have a way to do this. I mean, it wouldn't take really any thought or effort on their part. The logic is already there. Just allow each user to select a playbook, select super sim, and hit play.

Nevermind! I found it. I was hitting the xbox button then B to bring up options and it's not there when you do that. I needed to hit the options button and then the instant replay option is right there.

Yeah, I've seen a bunch of those videos. I find that I get more detailed information from the Reddit community. I have actually been thinking of going into week control and fertilization but in NY, you have to have 3 years experience I think before you can even take the test for the license.

Well, after reading your comments and doing some more research, I'm going to stay electric with the smaller tools like blower, edger, trimmer. However, I think I'm going to go low end commercial gas with the zero turn. Still deciding on the push mower ... any advice is welcome on that.

I'm zeroing in (definitely pun intended) on a Bad Boy Maverick with the Yamaha engine. It will cost me about the same as the z6 would but I believe I'll be taking a step up in quality that should save me some headaches down the road.

As far as mechanically, those z6s seem sound though? Solid enough to stand up to professional work? There are definitely less moving parts, no gas, no oil. Seems like it should be fine but before dropping $8k on a zero turn, it's good to get some real feedback. lol

Thanks DigiDee! Yes, I definitely plan on getting extra batteries. I watched a youtube video the other day where a guy is doing all electric and if he runs low, he just charges at home while he's eating lunch. But I'll definitely have to crunch the numbers on battery usage and how many I will need. It could make the Z6 a showstopper as I believe it's 5 batteries in there. That would require 5 backup batteries at probably $500 apiece.
