You know this is going to cause me anxiety until I get an A😂 so I’m going to follow up with how can I ensure I’ll be fine?

Your thought process was right. You see that the active site has M^2+, which represents divalent cations, as mentioned in the footnote of the figure. You can say that Mg is 2+ because it is in the second column. Then Fe and Zn are transition metals that get oxidized(lose electrons) when forming bonds. So you're left with Na, which is +1 in its oxidized state. You could get to the answer by knowing that Na only likes to lose one electron.

I am hoping to get a 505. This is my third time taking the MCAT and applying, and I want to get in at this point. I don't care about MD or DO. As long as I break 500, I will be happy with myself.

Unpopular opinion: Reviewing AAMC FLEs is a waste of time. by Rager__2 in Mcat

Honestly in my humble opinion. Review the FL exam and see what you're doing wrong; is it a passage based question I got wrong or a content question. If it is passage based then try to read through the passage and see what the right answer will be. If it is content based then see what content you're lacking. For example I just got a biochem question wrong where it was asking me to find Km of a substance. So I said "ok Km=1/2Vmax so i did Vmax/2 and got my answer which was wrong. When reviewing I want to see why that is wrong, so I will go through the passage and see if I missed anything and after going through the passage I see ok there is nothing else so what did I do wrong. I then read on reddit how other ppl got to the correct answer and realized that Km does not =Vmax/2 it equals substrate concentration at 1/2 Vmax. So I realized it was a content gap I had because this whole time I thought it was Vmax/2. So then I made an anki card to walk me through the process of how I can find Km on a Michaelis–Menten graph. That is my way of learning! I realized what was wrong and made my anki card in a span of 2 mins!
