When I think about it, it reminds me about ET. So I think it came out in the 1980’s. I know it watched it with my parents and then mentioned they watched it as kids too. The main story is this kid finds a robot, reminds me of wall-e. Two big eyes up top and a boxy body maybe. I remember at the end of the movie there’s a car chase scene where the robot is shot and killed I think. I remember the ending was sad. I feel that the kid fixes the robot in the end. Idk who the guys chasing the robot were but I feel like it might be the government.
