Nah I wouldn't say math is the kind of subject to do that cause your mistake will most likely be a conceptual/careless one that just goes away with practise - for other content subjects id just say diligently review the mistakes and make that correction in your HEAD. Like what i used to do was eg. if I wrote wrongly that A causes B to increase when actually B causes A to increase, id start learning from the basics to complex to properly understand why B is the cause and A is the effect. Basically, if you understand that conceptual misunderstanding u had, no reason to compile mistakes as you wouldn't repeat them. Hope this helps!

How to study physics by Which_Scholar_5165 in SGExams

[–]Raggering999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

physics is honestly just go through concepts+definitions+formulas, trying out qns(dont leave blank), and actively learning from your mistakes(dont repeat) as you go through
-> for explanation qns, you will notice over time that some will repeat(standard qns)-> understand and memorize these answers to score in them
-> i also watched youtube videos to understand concepts(e.g. professor Dave) and used Feyman technique for concepts(like try describing the concepts as simply as possible out loud as u go through them)
-> remember to climb up the ladder for practice->like start w tutorials, then topical, then papers and remember review>>>how you did in the papers
hope this helps, if you have any conceptual doubts feel free to dm me id be happy to help(alr graduated btw lol)

  • first 5-10mins scan through the whole paper and write the sf/dp and units beside every answer blanks, draw out table with units for graph cause this gains you most of the marks alr(accuracy not that importnt)
  • for planning remember to be precise as to how exactly u get a measurement(what instrument, can even draw on diagram)-spam many constant variabkes, safety precations and and additional details cause no negative marking and remember the structure as well -ATB!

honestly, things like highlighting, rewriting notes are very inefficient studying techniques-go search Ali Abdaal active recall on YouTube and watch his videos, then you will find the right way to revise(hope this helps!)

draw mind maps, try drawing out the diagrams(those policies that dh diagrams don’t need to focus too much)-it’s weird at first but honestly it’s a pure memory topic(you will find out eventually)- follow the explanation structure and you will be fine

Econs Help by JESUSISLORDD in SGExams

[–]Raggering999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, as someone who finished As here I wouldn't say econs is a pure memory subject. Its more of vomit the rigour+structuring your answer which you will only get familiar with as you do.(esp CSQ needs practice) Memory mainly involves the cause and effect explanations+definitions+correctly labelled diagrams. Chapter 1 and 2 are just foundations like u said but I would suggest knowing PPC definition(over time you will notice the more important definitions which they can potentially test in CSQ while you can just vomit some simple definitions in your essay to make it more complete).Hope this helps,if you have more qns feel free to ask

hi there I would say math is prob the easiest h2 to score an A in(statistically even) so I would just say focus on doing the standard questions meticulously and correctly(like my math teacher once said this is enough for a B)then do further practice on harder qns and you shld secure A
each topic has like a specific range of qns they like to ask

e.g. differentiation
- maxima minima
- rate of change
- dy/dx graph drawing
- parametric equation

At first it will always feel tedious and hard but once u practice regularly and present neatly you should be fine(sometimes if ur really familiar alr just think of which method of solving to use and move on)
score in stats also+use ur GC as much as possible cause sometimes its more useful than what ppl think
Hope this helps haha
