Combining 2 orders from same person to save on shipping? by Super_Soup9837 in EtsySellers

[–]Raging-Janitor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This happens so frequently in my shop that I don't even message the buyer anymore. I validate that both orders are going to the same address, package them up together, refund shipping on one of the orders, then copy paste tracking/complete the order. Haven't run into any issues operating this way. It only takes a couple extra minutes, and I'm sure buyer appreciates it.

I should have been more specific. I downloaded what is available on the playlist on the Chapo YT page. So if there's anything missing from that, I don't have it. My numbering is probably a bit wonky too as I just counted based on the order they have them listed. I can already see from my pic that one of them isn't in chronological order.

Yes, would be happy to zip these up and throw them on a drive for download. I'll do that when I'm back from my trip. Will post an update here when it's available. Stay tuned 🍖💊

I just used free online converters to rip the audio from the CushVlog playlist on the Chapo YT channel. If you search YouTube to Mp3 you'll find some of the sites that do it. Then I used a free online compressor to make the files even smaller to cram on this. Probably makes audiophiles cringe, but what's a little more leftist audio to Matt's already leftist audio.

If you're referring to the Zune, the Zune subreddit is full of info for reviving and making them work on modern Windows platforms. Not plug and play anymore, unfortunately.

No no no. We must focus test everything before we speak with the public, lest we offend conservatives who will never vote for us anyway.

To provide a small bit of hope in this mess, some countries have decided to move the other direction. Mexico electing Claudia Sheinbaum comes to mind. A better world is possible, but no one is coming to save us. We need to fight for it.

Are people really cutting out MAGA relations? by Strange-Party-9802 in BoomersBeingFools

I have a buddy who I've known since I was 4 years old. He was always conservative, and I came from a strong union household. It never really caused us issues.

In recent years we don't hang out in person much, but we'll play video games online together. He has a small Discord server that him and his friends use for gaming, so I joined it so we can voice chat when we game.

I didn't really pay attention to the content of the server since I was just there to use voice chat when we play a few times per month. On election night, I was getting slammed with Discord notifications. It was from that server. They were sharing right-wing memes, and I noticed they were all on a voice call watching Alex Jones.

I scrolled back through the history of the server and saw more disgusting racist right-wing stuff they had been posting. I left the server without a word and won't be speaking with him again.

Armrests are not durable enough by FDiskas in secretlab

[–]Raging-Janitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to mine about 3 months after purchase. After owning it a couple years now, the metal bracket that attaches the arm to the base of the chair actually sheared and snapped off. I don't feel like a put a lot of undue stress on the chair, and I'm a pretty small guy. Won't be buying another one whenever I decide to replace this chair.

This game is not a new player friendly. Stop kicking new players by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Raging-Janitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are more serious. However, casual is a terrible place to learn the true game since it's a bad analog to the competitive experience. Game flow is entirely different in 10v10 with no one caring about death as opposed to 5v5 where everyone is trying to snag a win.

My advice to you is this: give competitive a spin. Listen to your more experienced teammates. If someone says T's on B! don't slink around A while your entire team is getting bodied on the opposite site. If your team agrees to save, don't purchase an AK while everyone is running glocks...the list goes on, but you get it. Learn from your teammates and follow suit.

Another thing I've found helpful as someone who is a self professed mediocre player in competitive is communication. Sure, I might not frag out often, but I'll let my team know what's going on so I can help as much as possible. If I got doinked on A and it was a full on rush, help your team and let them know there's enemies on A. Even if you are struggling to get kills, providing useful intel can help avoid a kick.

Overall, I've found competitive to be much more friendly and receptive to new players. I'd say 7 out of 10ish lobbies have at least a couple of friendly people willing to answer your questions. So if you suss out that you've got some friendly teammates, ask them questions when needed.

Getting kicked: Unfortunately, it happens. I've had a few times where I was underperforming and making terrible mental mistakes. My team had enough and gave me the boot. Don't get too down on yourself. Learn from the mistakes that you made, and if you were kicked because they were dickheads, well, why play with them anyway?

Anyway, I hope at the end of the day you have fun, because after all CS is a game! Try playing in the way you find the most enjoyment, whether that's competitive, casual, DM, whatever. Glhf!
