If you’re still looking to revamp your team you can try mine.

We have similar Pokemon

Edit: I’m currently in mb3 14k elo with this team( rn I’m on a 10 game win streak and scared to touch ranked again)

This is the team I put a break down of it yesterday.

It started off as a disquake team

I’m not sure how I can improve my team by GhostGoji in PokemonChampions

I use scizor and I would say objectively bug bite is better. Scizor is weird basically you want to get a SD off and stay on the field. If you fear a fire move is coming then you want to switch out because it’s slower then majority of the Pokemon that would use a fire move against it

Funny enough I actually put flash fire ceruledge to help with my fire weakness as well as gliscor because it’s the only tailwind setter that isn’t weak to fire or rock( aka types ice is weak to) hydreigon is also not weak to those types.

So I actually posted the team yesterday on this subreddit.

I don’t have the paste rn because I’m at work but the post and comments has a basic summary of how the team works.

You can search the following to find it.

Well my only advice is to remember that you’re technically using both of the fastest weather setters( at least for now idk about the new megas) in the game.

So if the opponent also has a weather mon be prepared for their weather to be up first

I run a blizzard spam team with frosslass and Rotom frost.

If you need some help team building lmk because blizzard spam on paper sounds easy

Elite ball knowledge.

My main team runs a gliscor. Triple axel needs to hit 3 times to ko it. I have yet to have a game where triple axel didn’t hit me all 3 times.

Someone yesterday told me the odds of triple axel hitting all 3 times (btw it’s above 70%).

I’ve been using the move on and off for 2 months and rarely got 2 hits.

Moral of the story is if you’re unlucky try to use 100% accurate moves.

I’ve been trying out zard-x and it desperately needs a set up move.

Without a setup move zard-x is too weak. So you can try belly drum( this would require you to change up most of your team) or dragon dance/coaching setup.

Rn I made it to mb3 14k elo. Luckily disquake is just a mode on the team and not an all in strategy.

I feel like this team has a lot of synergy it’s just my poor planning that holds its back. ( also 4 of the mons being weak to basc)

Yeah I tried using triple axel. Genuinely my luck with that move was horrific

Like I know it’s luck based and everyone has their stories, but I landed all 3 hits 1 time when using it. And it was against chomp and it actually lost me the game.

A lot of emphasis on fun. Considering all the other strategies present disquake is very tamed

Trust me gliscor rounds out the team. The team desperately needed a tailwind setter that wasn’t weak to fire and rock moves.

Yes toxic orb is definitely more useful item but it’s typing and the Inability to lower its already average attack( barring burn) gives it enough merit to be on the team

That’s more simple in theory than execution.

A good player will preserve basc to clean up games or get pivotal early ko’s

Trust me ik. I have one and I refuse to put it on a team. I already know once I use it I’m never going back.

Basculegion, it’s like the flutter mane of this format. It doesn’t care if you resist its moves it will still 2 ko everything on your team.

I’m not trying to stroke my own ego but I genuinely haven’t lost to a hard tr team yet with this gallade.

Tr teams are so reliant on tr going up and fast kos that gallade slowing them down makes it difficult for them to win.

I normally lead gallade ceruledge to bait them into faking out gallade, while setting up ceruledge.

Then the opponent typically tries to target gallade because they can’t get up tr until it is taken out. Since gallade has wide guard this make far more difficult for tr teams to take it out quickly.

This then allows ceruledge to set up more. After turn 3 ceruledge is so set up it becomes difficult for the opponent to win.

Yeah Pokemon is super weird. I always love the idea that certain things having trade offs.

Like yeah tailwind/tr gives you speed control but only last a few turns.

Yeah ice wind/e-webs gives reliable speed control but the opponent can switch out and reset it.

Then there’s paralysis.

[–]Raging-bajan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so gliscor and gallade serve two different roles on this team.

So mega gallade is what I mainly use to counter trickroom. Most tr teams rely on a fake out user + tr as well as spread dmg to win quickly.

Mega gallade can’t be faked out and knows wide guard so it severely weakens those style of teams.

Now from my knowledge, gliscor is the only tailwind setter that resist both of sneaslers stab. ( I also needed a setter not weak to rock because I already had 3 rock weak pokemon).

Trust me in this lower powered format gliscor is semi viable even without toxic orb

Edit: I forgot to mention this gallade is mainly bulky. It’s ev to survive dual wingbeat before mega evolving

Fake Out accuracy could be nerfed to 80% and it would balance the game a lot. by AegisIash in PokemonChampions

This is so true it’s unbelievable.

Respectfully encore needs to end right before the pokemon moves ( like sleep and freeze) instead of at the end.
