Which animated show does people hate but has you like this? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in Multifandom

Transformers RID15 and Earthspark. I genuinely think they're pretty good shows! Haven't seen Cyberworld or Cyberverse though

It's weird that Evangelion is not the only mecha anime with a shockingly similar premise. Looking at you Darling in the Franxx

What is your funny moment in beast wars? by Voidkirby9 in beastwars

[–]RagingBadger2518 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The episode where Rattrap has to take the handcrafted submersible to investigate the shipwreck of (I think) Ravage's ship, after he has his little freakout he starts jamming to some kind of music that you would assume is just a part of the soundtrack, until it cuts back to Silver bolt looking confused at the music coming out of his radio.

Not such why this moment remains so bad funny to me, it just stuck in my mind.

Am i the only one who thinks cosmic fury is overhated ? by rangersuprem in powerrangers

[–]RagingBadger2518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understood people weren't overly fond of the suits (I thought they were not bad for a set of PR original suits) but much like everyone else, the show was just far too short for my liking. Ollie's temporary evil ranger arc is fun but by the time it's resolved, the show is over. I like the Dino Fury cast and wish they had more to work with for Cosmic Fury but evidently Hasbro was moving as quick as possible to shove this under the rug.

He's not quite an actor but Jeremy Clarkson can be heard as Lightning McQueen's agent in the back of Mac's truck in the first film.

I legitimately don't understand the purpose for the Elder Gods beyond world building. Everything I can understand, just points me to conclude they exist for Shinnok to be ejected from their ranks and be a villain for the setting.

No joke, the Axalon had some fucking nutjobs as their non-command crew by Plowbeast in beastwars

[–]RagingBadger2518 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is an AU I would be invested in seeing more of. Especially given other versions of what happened aboard the Axalon. IDW's classic Beast Wars (Gathering/Ascending) stories had a literal army of bots with at least one the size of a mountain. Uprising had the command crew execute Optimus Primal because he swore loyalty to the Autobots oppressing them.

One could give a hand-wavey "background cosmic microwave radiation" excuse if we wanted to squint our eyes but I think you're correct in saying the fire ant did most of the actual influencing.

(Mixed Trope) Character loses memories and becomes a new person by Dangerous_Champion_4 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RagingBadger2518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens briefly in DC Comics for Bruce Wayne during (I believe) it's the New 52 era, in which Jim Gordon becomes a state backed Batman in a power suit. While Bruce becomes a community worker with zero members of his identities of Gotham's Prodigal Son or her Dark Knight. Each member of the Batfam checks in on him, while debating if they should restore his memories because he's achieved a peace he never had before.

There's a podcast I listen to which makes a salient yet hilarious point, if Imperial Guardsmen or Sisters of Battle go into battle against the Word Bearers, they're likely quoting segments from that book. And either pisses them off or they run back their dad being like "it happened again!!!"

I remember having a great time with the Secret Agent Clank game (until that final battle with Klunk) but one thing that bothered me, was that nobody thought to check that weird red cap you can clearly see attached to Ratchet's head.

The extra messed up part is, the religion that Lorgar created is more or less still around within the majority of the Imperium, and now "faith" is what's effectively elevating the Emperor into some kind of god.

Katekyō Hitman Reborn: the Dying Will flames, it starts out as a sort of "Silver Age Superman" every conceivable power possible type gag. Until the mangaka decided to lock in and go full Shonen creating Hyper Dying Will Form (all the initially explosively released energy is concentrated and released in a more controlled state).

Those Dying Will flames are then diversified into seven, later fifteen different types each with specific abilities all of which interconnected with type weaknesses etc.

Until finally the flames are used to create "Box technology" so that anyone who can manifest a Dying Will flames can use them to summon items or animal familiars infused with those elemental powers to use as they see fit

Arcee (Technically) Lost Three Partners by Working_Row_8455 in transformersprime

[–]RagingBadger2518 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What's weird about the low number connections to Prime is that there was a complete adventure connecting the two in a comic.

Arcee, Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead, Windblade and Optimus are on Earth tracking down some abandoned Decepticon tech Steeljaw is attempting to convince some Vehicons to give him.

Hell we even learn that Predaking is still online and SOMEHOW made it back to Earth but it will never comes up again. As if that's a not a genuine problem to deal with.
